Yoongi's POV

8:10

"I know it's late, Namjoona, I know, but you and Hobi can go first. This will take me ten minutes, tops." Yoongi was pulling all sorts of things from the merch boxes they had at the office where they held the group lives. He already had two pedialytes -those came from his fridge- and some pills on the table and was scribbling down notes.

"What are you even doing, hyung? What's all this?" asked an impatient Namjoon.

"Y/N had a rough night thanks to what happened yesterday. I video called her when her texts stopped making sense and saw a full ashtray and an empty bottle of scotch next to her as she jumped up and down to a metal song on her balcony." He kept arranging the things in a box.

"Damn... That still doesn't explain this though."

"It's a care package," Jungkookie's voice said from the door, "Hyung wants to take care of her hangover in some way. Here, hyung, I brought you some of my go to snacks and another coffee. Noona will need them." Yoongi had told JK about you drinking into oblivion the previous night and that he was going to send some stuff to your office to help with the hangover.

He asked one of the managers to pretend to be from a delivery company so as to not raise suspicions and he was going to have it delivered around the same time of their break, in the off chance that you would text or call.

"Ah! You're so cool, hyung. So romantic. Why the blanket?" Asked Namjoon as he helped him fold it into a nice little roll, with Shooky facing the front.

"Seriously, Jungkookie? A coffee with your face on it?"

The youngest grinned, shamelessly, "I'm her bias."

Yoongi shook his head. "The blanket is because she gets cold easily and she's wearing a dress. I don't want her legs to go cold." The tips of his ears turned red.

"You don't want her legs to go cold or don't want her legs to be showing?" Now the leader was teasing him.

"Both. It drives me crazy. She has great legs."

"That is true. Or at least I think so. No one who has that great of an ass can have bad legs." Offered JK.

"I swear on my life, I will kick your fucking ass one of these days, Kook." The two younger members laughed, "make yourself useful, bring this to Gi Heon-ssi, he knows what to do with it," he gave the big box to Jungkook and headed out the door. "And be back in five, got it?"

"Yes, sir!" JK ran out the door without having to be told twice.

"That was a really nice thing to do for Y/N-ssi, hyung. I don't think she'll be expecting it." The two rappers were walking back to the studio, where recording had begun at 8 sharp and Yoongi had been texting through the first minutes, before jumping up and leaving.

"I don't think she expects anything but bad things from her partners," he sighed, "she has a rough past, Monah." The leader nodded but didn't ask anything. Namjoon was very prudent in that matter. "I just wish I could make her life easier and it's not proving to be that easy. I'm afraid that she won't be able to take the harassment of the fans and media when we go public."

This was a recurring theme in Yoongi's head. Even when Jin had told him to give you a chance to adapt and when he knew you could do it, because you had survived worse things, it still scared him. He couldn't lose you over something like that.

"I know you think that, but from what I've heard about her and from how you're doing your best to make her comfortable, I don't think she'll run. She might try to, but we won't let her. Not when she's being this good for you, hyung. I told you, we protect our own."
