I would like to share with you some good news I got on Thursday, and which is why I've been slow, I've been celebrating.
A year and two months ago, I suffered a stroke to the cerebellum that nearly killed me. It happened due to a viral infection that attacked my brain.
The aftermath is quite tame, compared to what could've happened, I now wear glasses, my left ear was affected and I tend to lose balance even when walking on flat surfaces.
Needless to say that my depression and anxiety were severely spiked due to that.
I had my check-up appointment with the neurologist on Thursday and he told me that, after what has been an extremely long journey, and not taking into consideration the effects I just mentioned that will be with me forever: I'M FINE.
I'm finally fine.
It feels like I can breathe properly after being underwater for a long time.
