Yoongi's POV

Recording was going slow that day, everyone was on edge about the leak and were walking on eggshells, minding every little thing they said, in fear of anything else making the press.

Each of their studios were sound proof, so it freaked everyone out when they read the news because they had been in Yoongi's studio when everything happened, but after thinking about it a bit, Namjoon remembered that he hadn't closed the door completely after coming in. He figured it would shut on its own if he just let go of it.

So anyone could've heard anything that was discussed while they were inside there. After a while, they calmed down a bit because piece after piece of that day came together and they realized that the only reason anyone could've eavesdropped was because Seojun and Han were called to a security briefing around the time they began yelling and they left their spots outside the door.

The managers rarely kept watch over the studios or the guys in general while they were inside the building, but that day they knew things were going to be difficult, so they were on standby.

The only good part was that, since there were cameras all over the hallway, they could check the footage and figure out who the rat was. Security was working on it already.

“Shibal!” Yoongi yelled as he threw the headphones to the floor, “Mianheyo, I can't…” It was the fourth time that he had messed up his verse and couldn't seem to get it right. It was frustrating him to no end.

He couldn't think and he couldn't work. He had promised that whatever happened between you wouldn't affect his work, but now it had involved the entire group and that altered the way they acted and dealt with stuff.

“Hyung, it's okay,” Hobi said from the other side of the booth, he was the producer for the song they were working on and that upset Yoongi even more. He hated ruining Hobi's efforts. “We're all upset. It's understandable that you're distracted.”

“No, Hoba, it's not okay. I promised you all that this wouldn't mess with my work and it is, I'm sorry.” He gulped down a whole bottle of water in one go.

“It's affecting us all, hyung, really. And it's not your fault,” a sheepish Namjoon interjected. “If Hoba is okay with it, let's take a little break, go out and take a breather. We can all use a bathroom break to be honest.”

Yoongi locked eyes with Namjoon, silently thanking him with one look and went out. He headed to his studio, he was going to try and call you, just to hear your voice.

He closed the door and sat on the couch, immediately firing up his texts, only to find the first text you sent. His stomach dropped. You were definitely upset and/or mad at him.

Sure, you were busy and by the looks of it, you were going to have to eat lunch at your desk. He was amazed by you in every way. But the ‘I don't need a reply’ bit, hit him hard. It felt like you were pushing him away, you even said to text you if he could. He had been trying to prove to you that he'd always put you first.

He sighed and closed his eyes. He had to calm down. There was a second text from you that managed to make him smile and his heart to flutter. It was simple and direct, but it boosted his ego to the sky. It was already three p.m. and he didn't want to interrupt you, so he was going to text you when he finished work.

He went back to the studio, a renewed step to his walk and a huge grin on his face. His brothers noticed and they all felt a weight leaving their bodies. When one of them was off, the rest was too.

“Gwenchana, hyung?” Asked Hobi, as Yoongi stepped into the booth. The grin he received, along with a nod, as reply let him know that things were about to pick up…and they did.
