Yoongi's POV
He had slept in. This was going to be one of the last chances he'd get to do that. Things were going to get hectic in no time and while he was excited and happy, he was still nervous and apprehensive.
Yoongi had never expected to find anyone to be with, and certainly not someone like you…while getting coffee. It had been an unexpected surprise. From the moment you opened the door of that Cafe and he heard your voice, something stirred in him.
He had never seen someone as beautiful as you and as intriguing. You rendered him speechless with one look and he was hooked. He'd never stop thanking every single deity out there that you were his.
And now he was in a conundrum. He wanted to go back on the road, to go back to performing and to Army, it was where he belonged and where he felt most himself…but now he had you…and in you he felt at home. He didn't want to part from you. Could it be possible to have the best of both worlds? He really hoped so.
He stayed in bed until around eleven thirty and then went to take a shower. When he got out, he realized that he had missed your text. He stared at his phone for a long time, you said you'd meet him at home.
For a few seconds he was confused because you had agreed to him picking you up on Friday, but you had also told him that you were going to come over…and now you said “home”.
If anyone could see him right then, they'd have a field day. He was doing a silly, happy dance while laughing. That simple word made him happy.
It took his phone ringing for him to stop dancing.
“Hoseok-ah, to what do I owe the pleasure?” He answered.
“Yah, Hyung!” Hobi laughed, “What has you so chirpy today? This is so not like you.”
“Oh you know, just excited about the album and Army,” he chuckled.
“Right, right, nothing to do with the fact that Y/N-ssi is on her way back from Busan, hu?”
“How do you even know that?” Yoongi asked surprised.
“I'm with Jiminah,” from the back Jimin shouted “hey, hyung!”
“His dad called him to say your girl had come to the cafe and had left earlier. He also told him that he wished she had met Jiminah first because he'd love to have her as a daughter.”
“Now you know, hyung, if you mess it up, I have my dad's blessing to go after your girl and wife her up!”
Yoongi laughed out loud, “keep dreaming, Jiminah. I'm the only one who will be marrying Y/N.”
“Woah! Strong declarations, Yoongi-ya. Shouldn't you have her approval first?” Joked Hobi.
“I intend to get it when the timing is right.”
Yoongi could hear Hobi taking him off speaker phone and huddling together with Jimin. “Wait, wait, are you being serious right now?”
“I am. I know it sounds crazy, but I want to be with her forever. We'll talk about it later. Now, was there another reason why you were calling me?”
“Actually, yeah. We got a call from Si-Hyuk hyung and he asked if we could get to Hybe at around three. Dinner is at seven, but he wants to run an idea by us. We figured that, since the dinner party will be at the lounge, we could grab some light lunch before coming into Hybe and then we can change there. I'm already with Jiminah and we're picking up Jungkookie. Namjoon hyung is picking up Tae and Jinnie said he can drive you tonight since you were the designated driver on Tuesday.”
