Y/N POV
At seven a.m The alarm went off to the sound of Hobi's Pandora's Box, but there really wasn't any need for it, you had been up and thinking since around five.
You couldn't help it. The levels of excitement, anxiety and eagerness for your lunch date with THE Min Yoongi were too much to handle, you were still processing last night's dinner for fuck's sake!
It felt like you were in a dream or a badly written drama. The way you met was so cliché and dumb, it was the kind of scene in soap operas that made you wanna gag. Sweet, dumb and overall unlikely, and yet… It happened to you.
You got up and started the kettle while you ground up some coffee beans, reveling in the smell of the perfectly toasted beans and knowing just by that, that the level of acidity in your cup would be just right. Yes, you were a coffee snob and you liked it.
Turning the kettle off right before it hit the boiling point, you poured enough water in the french press to heat it, poured it out, put the ground coffee in and slowly, in a circular motion, you poured the water over them. At this point in your life you didn't have to set a timer to know when it would be brewed to perfection, you knew.
You went back to your room, made your bed, set up your outfit for the day on top of it and pulled out your favorite cross body bag to fill it with what you would need. Once that was done, you headed back into the kitchen, pressed down on the press plunger and poured yourself a cup of joe. It was heavenly.
The time it took for you to drink your morning coffee was the time you took to repeat your daily affirmations, as pathetic as it sounded. You had to remind yourself that you were enough, that you were worthy of love and that you had every single right to say no to whatever could harm you.
In the last couple of years you had stopped reminding yourself that you were strong, because you had finally realized it. You had finally understood it, and it was mostly thanks to BTS.
So yes, what was happening was a dream come true in more ways than one.
Once you finished your coffee and washed the dishes, you headed in for a shower. You tried to relax, letting the hot water hit your shoulders and lower back, you used your favorite lavender body wash and your coconut shampoo. It was important that you felt refreshed.
You did your usual routine, blow dried hair and little to no make up. You half tucked your t-shirt in and by 10:30, you were ready. If you were to meet Yoongi at noon, you needed to leave home at 11:30 at the latest, it took half an hour to get to your office by train. But you didn't want to cut it too close, so you left at eleven sharp.
Taking out your phone, you texted Huang.
Y/n: "leaving home now, Huang-ssi. You can start the tracking at any time you want."
H: "Starting right now. Have fun, noona. Remember you can call if you need and I'll come pick you up, no matter when."
Y/n: "I know. Thank you. Go out, go meet some girl. "
You smiled and headed towards the station. The time flew by and before you knew it, you were standing at the back entrance of your office building. It was only 11:45, so you decided to text Yoongi.
Y/N: "It seems like I miscalculated the time it would take me to get here, so I'm here already. Mianheyo. Take your time, I'll wait."
Not even a minute later, your phone vibrated with a response.
Yoongi: "I'm on my way. Be there in three minutes."
Yoongi's POV
Yoongi was up at about five in the morning and got to Hybe at a quarter to seven. Headed to the studio immediately and proceeded to prepare everything that would be needed for the day's recording session.
