Mixed POVs

It was around nine thirty that same night when Yoongi's phone vibrated, you had spent all day sleeping and he didn't have the heart to wake you up. He considered it at one point, because you had to eat, but the truth was that if sleeping helped your mind heal, then your body could go without food for a few hours.

He was quick to silence the phone and when he saw it was Namjoon calling, he ended the call and texted him immediately.

9:32 p.m.
MY: Can't talk. Y/N is sleeping. What's up?

9:33 p.m.
KNJ: You better wake her up. The statement is going up in two minutes and well… you know what will follow. She needs to be ready.

9:33 p.m.
MY: does this mean that asshole is in US soil then?

9:34 p.m.
KNJ: the plane landed 15 minutes ago and he's under police custody already.

9:34 p.m.
MY: Gamsahabnida.

And just as Namjoon had said, the second the clock struck 9:35, both your phone and his chimed with a notification from weverse.

Hello
This is BigHit Music.

We would like to inform you about a recent altercation between BTS member Suga and a now former employee of Hybe America.

Recently, Hybe America hired a new head for the logistics department while Hybe Headquarters hired a third party company to handle the restructuring of said department to ensure a more efficient process. The restructure was to begin at BigHit, with BTS and particularly with Suga's solo endeavors as a producer.

Unfortunately, Hybe America wasn't aware that the individual they hired had a record for domestic violence and attempted murder, furthermore, they were unaware that said record came from this individual attacking the very employee from the hired third party assigned to work on the project.

During a recent meeting, this man attacked the female employee in question, fled the scene and went back to Hybe's building looking for a safe haven. Once back he demanded to meet with the person working directly with the female he attacked.

Suga volunteered to speak with the man and fire him himself, as he felt responsible given that it was his project that had prompted the hiring of the third party company. After a conversation that was supposed to end with the termination of the man's contract with Hybe America, the man lashed out at Yoongi, delivering a strike to his face.

At this moment, his manager intervened and the man attacked him too. This caused Suga to react and to attack the man back in order to protect both him and his manager.

The man was given medical attention and handed to the authorities, who in turn, handed him to the United States Embassy. He has since been fired and deported back to America, where he was arrested upon landing and is now facing an investigation and subsequent trial.

Both the Korean and American authorities have agreed not to press any charges against Suga, given that he acted in self-defense and in defense of another person, however, Suga has agreed to testify in case his testimony is needed.

We must stress that Suga is fine and wasn't seriously harmed.

Violence against anyone but particularly against women is not tolerated at Hybe or any of its subsidiaries and we will do our best to ensure nothing like this happens, ever again.

We would like to express our most heartfelt apology to the woman who was hurt due to Hybe America’s negligence in its recruitment process. To honor her, we will be donating 20 million won to an organization that helps abused women. Each BTS member has pledged the same amount individually.
