You both sat back down, and Yoongi took your hand in his, kissing it before he started driving and never letting it go. It was almost as if he thought you were going to evaporate if he let go of you.
"So...we got the okay to date. When should I expect the NDA?" You said, lightly. The fact that you had permission to date Yoongi - and the fact that you needed said permission - still shocked you, but it made you happy.
"Not anytime soon," he said in a deep voice and almost as if he had read your mind, continued, "I didn't want you to sign one, I trust you. There are some who think I'm an idiot for trusting you so blindly when we haven't known each other for long, but I know in my very core that I can trust you, so the NDA is a technicality from the company. I'll go over it first and then bring it to you."
He squeezed your hand and took his eyes off the road to look at you for a second.
"Y/N, I need you to know and understand two things." He was serious, and so you just nodded and looked at him.
"One, you don't have to sign the NDA, I don't want you to, I see no need for it. And two, we got the okay, but I wasn't asking for permission, I was informing them that we're in a relationship. Under the new contracts, we can date whoever we want and they can't say shit about it. It was just a formality for me to inform them. I wouldn't have let them stop me from being with you. You need to know that."
Your eyes filled with tears. The raw emotion in which Yoongi was telling you this was disarming. He had been willing to fight for you even when your relationship was in its fetus stage, that was something that had never happened to you before.
No matter what he said though, you had to sign that NDA. It would make everyone around him more comfortable with you and it would prove to them that you were in this for him and with him. That you wanted nothing but the best for him even if that wasn't you.
"Yoongi...I...thank you." You choked up a little. "Thank you for giving me my proper place in your life. That's something that's new for me."
It wasn't visible, but Yoongi flipped on the inside. Just how badly had you been treated before that something as little as him making sure people knew he wasn't leaving you made you react this way? He wanted to murder whoever it was that hurt you.
"I will sign the NDA though."
"You don't have to, Y/N."
"I know that, but I want to." You said it with a smile. "Anything that will protect you, I will do. Besides, it can also mean protection for me and it will guarantee that the other members can be at ease around me and be more accepting towards me."
"They already accept you," he said with a frown.
You knew he was hiding something. Arching an eyebrow you said, "all of them?"
"Argh...can we talk about it later, when I tell you everything? Right now I just want to enjoy this car ride with my girlfriend and bask in the hope of the make out session I have planned when we get to her home."
"Oh really?" You chuckled, "you planned a make out session?"
His demeanor went from serious to teasing in two seconds, "Baby, you've been in my mind all day. If you only knew how many times I've daydreamt today about eating up your mouth...I am abiding by traffic laws merely because I don't want a fucking scandal in the news saying 'Min Yoongi runs four red lights', but believe me, I need to get you alone and on top of me. Now."
Well, damn. You tried to be subtle and pressed your thighs together because the second those words left his mouth, you got wet. He was a master at the art of anticipation and the fact that you had been thinking about him at every single free moment you had too, was not helping.
