Yoongi's POV

The second you hung up, Yoongi's face twisted in anger as he emailed you the file. How was it possible that Si-Hyuk had gone behind his back and done such a thing? He knew what you meant to him, he knew of your past and how you hated lies. Did he not know pulling a stunt like this could damage his relationship with you?

“Well, hyung?” Yoongi had never spoken to him like that, he held the man in way too much respect to even consider it, but he wasn't thinking straight. The mere thought of you being upset over this had him reeling.

“It's necessary, Yoongi-ya. Look at what's happening with Adora. We have to shield you and the rest of the members. Whatever happens hits you all equally. Like it or not, each one of you alone IS BTS, you're a whole.” Bang began Explaining.

“Y/N is not Adora and I am well aware that what one of us does affects the rest. I offered to leave the group because of what Adora is pulling. I said I'd do it and I will do it, right now, if you tell me to. That's how much my brothers mean to me. I'd never hurt them. You know that.” Though it might end up killing Yoongi, he'd leave the group. If it was what was best for the rest. He got them in this mess, he'd get them out.

“Don't be an idiot, no one is asking you to do that and this is not about that.” Interjected Si-Hyuk .

“Is it not? Because it sounds to me like you're making my girlfriend and her friends sign NDAs because of what happened with an unhinged woman I had a relationship with. Or is that just the excuse the company is pulling?” Yoongi knew all the tricks.

“Yoongi, you're blowing this way out of proportion. It's just an NDA.”

“It's not. It's a way for the company to still meddle and control my relationships when I'm a grown man and a human. We are not the company's property and we thought we made it clear when we decided to renew our contracts.” He was punching low.

“It's not…Alright look. Yes, it's a way to make sure you and the company won't be damaged should anything happen, but, have you really read through it? It covers her too.”

This caught Yoongi by surprise. He had read over the NDA, expecting it to be as the ones he had handled before, but he didn't dive deep into it. Yoongi put the call on speaker and went to open the file on his phone. “What part? What do you mean?”

“An NDA usually covers only one party. This one doesn't. Go to clause 15.”

Yoongi immediately scrolled down to it and began reading as Bang kept talking.

“As you can see, that clause clearly states that should she suffer any harm for her affiliation with you and BTS as a whole, she's entitled to compensation and legal representation. It also allows us to provide a security detail for her. She's not an employee and she's not a family member, so we have no other way to justify it. The only document she will ever sign with us is this. It's the only way we can protect her, Yoongi.”

He was speechless. He came in, ready to argue, fight and threaten, all because he wanted to shield you and protect you. It never occurred to him that Bang was doing the same thing.

“Alright, I get it. But why her assistant and I'm guessing, her best friend too?” He continued.

“Your guess is correct. Miss Hardy,” that was Lena's last name, you had mentioned it before, “got one too. They're protected under clause 16. I really tried my best to cover all fronts, Yoongi-ya. We know Y/N-ssi is important to you, moreover, I know how you feel about her and we won't risk her. We never meant any harm.”

“I can see that now, hyung,” the tone of his voice held a bit of embarrassment at doubting Si-Hyuk, “thank you very much. I emailed Y/N the draft and I will wait for her to tell me how she feels about it, but I'm sure she has already spotted what I missed.”
