“Jungkookie…I swear I didn't know. You know Yoongi and I grew a bit distant for a while, and so he wasn't confiding in me as he used to. He told me they broke up because she didn't want to be in a relationship with anyone who was leaving to the military so soon. He never told me anything until that night we got shitfaced.”

Jungkook wasn't saying anything. He was just staring at Namjoon.

“Say something.”

“I don't know what to say…I mean,” Jungkook sat back on the couch and pinched his nose, “Mianheyo, hyung. I was out of line talking to you and about you like that. I was wrong about why you acted the way you did about Adora.”

Namjoon visibly flinched at the mention of her name, but he knew Jungkook had every  right to feel how he felt because he never saw the need to explain his actions before. He also knew that what -apparently- they all felt about how he acted and who he associated with had some valid points of concern, it all went down to him not communicating with his brothers.

He kept quiet for too long.

“Kookie…don't. Don't apologize, I should be the one apologizing to all of you. I'm sorry.”

Jungkook shook his head and dried some tears that had escaped his eyes. When did things get so complicated between them? It was clear that they needed to air a lot of shit before even considering going back on tour.

“Gwenchana, hyung” He said as he stood up and offered Namjoon a hand to help him stand. Once he did, they hugged and stayed like that for a few minutes, until the maknae broke the hug. “I need to go support Yoongi,”

“Yeah, me too,” added Namjoon.

“I really don't think you should, hyung” Jungkook went to Yoongi's mini fridge and took out a bottle of water, opened it and gave it to Namjoon, gesturing for him to drink, “not right now.”

The elder took a big gulp and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. “Why not?”

“Because you angered him badly. Yoongi hyung needs a clear head if he's to convince Si Hyuk-ssi to let him date Y/N and if you show up, he'll blister. Let him calm down and then you can talk to him. And hyung…I think that what angered him the most is the part about you disrespecting her. She's being very…cautious.”

“What do you mean?”

“It's not my story to tell, just know that she has Yoongi's and our best interest at heart. I haven't personally met her, but I have a good feeling about her.”

Namjoon nodded and gave a slight chuckle, “When did you become so wise, hu?”

“I have six brothers that taught me right from wrong, I was lucky.” And at that moment, Jungkook was the small, doe-eyed cute kid with a scrunched nose again. Namjoon knew he was right.

“Alright. Go help him, I'll head down to the studio and set things up with Yi Jeong…ah fuck, if Yoongi is mad at me, he will be too.” He said.

Jungkook waited until he had one leg out the door before he said, laughing, “You kind of deserve it hyung, you were an ass!”

He ran off before Nam could throw something at him.
