Monday morning was a blur. You woke up and spent about twenty minutes letting Yoongi play with your hair and caressing your back before you each went to take a shower.

“Seojun-ah got us coffee. He'll give it to us when we go downstairs. I know we have a coffee date later this morning, but he was adamant you needed a hot beverage.” He pulled you into him by your waist as you rode in the elevator.

“That's kind of him.”

“I keep telling you, they all love you. Seojun-ah is still insisting that he should be the one in charge of your security.” Yoongi was touched by the way his manager was trying so hard for you.

“I'm beginning to believe it. It feels nice. It's weird, but nice.” You leaned your head on his shoulder and sighed, “I can't believe I have to be in a car for four hours tomorrow. I'll try and sleep on the way.”

“At what time are you leaving?”

The elevator door dinged and you let go of him. You were both wearing masks. You had on a hoodie on top of your work clothes and Yoongi had a baseball cap pulled low. Seojun was waiting for you with a beverage carrier on his hands.

“Good morning, Seojun-ah.” He handed you your coffee and bowed. “Gamsahabnida. I really needed coffee. You spoil me.”

“Just taking care of you, Miss Y/LN.” He went to open the door of Yoongi's Mercedes for you while you carried on with your conversation with Yoongi.

“We're leaving at five thirty. Huang-ssi is picking me up.” You slid in the car and didn't notice the frown on Seojun's face. Door check and you were ready. Yoongi was already in.

“Hmm…that sounds tiring. I won't be able to come say goodbye, baby. I don't know at what time I'll finish today and we're supposed to have dinner with the staff to celebrate finishing the recording.”

“That's alright. I understand. Text me when you wake up tomorrow, if I'm awake I'll reply right away. I'll also try to text you throughout the day, but the appointment is at 11, I have no idea when we'll be out.”

“Yeah, I understand. I don't know how you're able to deal with meetings and people and shit. I always thought I'd enjoy an office work, but I had enough of it during the military. Stick me in a studio for fourteen hours and I'm fine…eight hours behind a desk? I was ready to gauge my eyes out.”

You laughed loudly. Yoongi could be so dramatic when he wanted to that it was the most endearing thing in the world. You could understand him though, not the working behind a desk part, because you loved that, you loved what you did. It was the dealing with meetings and dumb people that you hated, it drained your energy. If it was bad for you, you imagined how much it would affect someone like Yoongi, who was a creative creature, who thrived when creating things. Working on spreadsheets or reports must have been hell for him.

Your lives were so different and yet, you clicked so easily it felt unreal. Without thinking about it, you reached for the hand Yoongi had on his thigh and intertwined your fingers with his.

“I loved this weekend. Thank you, Yoongi.”

He brought your hand to his lips and kissed it. “No, thank you. My home felt cozy and full with you there. It's usually lonely, but you brightened it up. I will miss you.”

You grinned. There was a twinkle in your eyes that had Yoongi feeling giddy, like a teen in love. He couldn't believe he could feel that way. Not when he was the self professed cold person, who didn't like to be babied and who had declared that he didn't think he could be sweet towards his partner. You were changing everything.
