"It's nothing, don't worry Killy" Catnap said in a small voice matching the monster's. Killy knew he wasn't going to get to Catnap like this so we decided to switch tactics. "Well, what they said wasn't okay, you deserve better" he spoke to the feline "I really don't" responded Catnap. Killy was confused was Catnap really thinking this badly about himself right now? "What do you mean, they seem like horrible friends to you right now, they don't seem to care about you at all, only what you'll become in the future" Killy stiffened as he said that. "What I'll become in the future... what do you mean?" Catnap asked looking at Killy Willy confused. "It's nothing, don't worry about it" Killy said as he smiled a bit nervously at the feline. Catnap was confused, but he didn't seem to want to pry further so he shrugged and sighed looking at the ground. "Look Catnap, as your friend, I wouldn't allow others to bully you like this... all those things they said, even wanting to go as far as kicking you out of the group, uncalled for" Killy crossed his arms and glared ahead. Catnap's ears pinned back as he thought about what the other critters said, and about his own words. "Why did I even say all those things? I love kids... the kids in the Playcare, they..." "they're different" Killy finished Catnap's sentence causing the feline to look up at him. "They're not getting a good future unlike that child that Dogday saved, it's not the same because that child had a family waiting for them, we both know what happens behind closed doors here... the trauma, pain, suffering that those orphans will all have to face one day. They won't get bright futures, they don't get a happily ever after like that kid. They don't even understand their position in this game of life they're currently living" Killy tried to explain to Catnap, he did see that Catnap's ears perked up seemingly interested in what he had to say, and he was happy with that. "You and I both know what happened to those kids, we were also like them... blissfully unaware of the danger this place truly has lurking in every shadow" Killy sighs and looked down at Catnap. "You're a good toy Catnap, a good friend as well" as Killy said this he mentally cursed at himself for being so soft, but he kept reminding himself that it was needed to gain the feline's trust, and make sure he was sided against the other critters, against the whole factory. Those other critters and toys won't know what to do, the day is coming for them all, and they're all blissfully unaware of their own doom. Killy chuckled a bit and noticed Catnap looking at him, he seemed like he was intrigued to understand more of this promised future for him, and what position of power he will hold, Killy smirked at him for a moment before he swatted at Catnap quickly causing a yowl of pain to shoot out of the cat and a thud as he hit the wall.
