Smiling Critters continues on...

Chapter 522

The CEO walked into the Playcare, and looked at the progress made. A few of the mini critters were still lose but it wasn't as bad as before, most seemed to be corralled into the corners and avoiding the flames. "Why must you use a flamethrower in here?!" the CEO demands as the scientist with the flamethrower looked at his boss confused. "They're afraid of the fire sir, so we are using it as a means to keep them all under control" the scientist explained but the CEO just pinched the bridge of his nose annoyed. "Look, I'm busy just figure out a safer way, there are water sprinklers still up and I'm sure they're still-" the CEO tried to explain but the scientist just laughed "no they turned those off because of the construction sir" the scientist spoke up and walks off with the flamethrower. The CEO sighs as he watches the chaos of the mini critters running away from the flamethrower and a few of them getting their revenge by teaming up and attacking a few of the other scientists. The CEO just rolled his eyes and mutters under his breath "idiots" he spoke and walked into the demolished school house. As he made his way into the building he was met with the same charred corpses of the two small mascots, he didn't care enough to really remember their names, but he walked further into the building he was met with a few mini critters tearing at the Dogday Prototype mascot suit as it lay limp onto the ground. He raised a brow to it because he didn't think that the mini critters were really going to attack their own like that, but it seemed that something in the suit caused them to attack it. He walked around them all to avoid their little bites. "I wonder if they could also get the upgrades..." he mumbles and continues further into the building. He passes by a few classrooms and they're all empty and burnt with ash. There are a few children's coloring books, and a few drawings that surprisingly survived the fire. He looked at one of the drawings, it was of a little boy seemingly holding hands with Dogday and Catnap, and in big bubble letters above and below the picture it said 'My new and amazing best friends' the CEO chuckles a bit before he crumbles the art in his hand and shakes his head with a smirk. "These dumb kids don't know what's coming to them..." he speaks and continues to walk further into the school. He throws the art on the floor and steps on the crumbled paper before he walks into the same classroom that his men apparently seen Hoppy. As he walks in he does notice that there are distinct paw prints in the ground that do look like Hoppy's. He walks over to the desk and tries to look for what Hoppy was looking for, and he smirks upon finding exactly what Hoppy was searching for before his men got her.
