Smiling Critters continues on...

Chapter 458

Dogday went back towards the Prototype's lair, sure he was scared, but he had to find the three old critters. It was all for the good of the future for Play co. Dogday sighs because he knows that they might never forgive him, but he has to try at least.

Catnap and the others head back up to the surface leaving Dogday down there to his fate. "Look we shouldn't be moping around like this, Dogday did this to himself, and he can figure it out on his own" Catnap said as he seemed to want a way out of knowing all this. "Dogday was your friend for a long time Catnap, I didn't think he would be the one responsible for... all this" Poppy said as she gestured to the purple feline and everyone else. "It's unfortunate yes, he was supposedly the "leader" but he seemed to only follow the CEO and the Prototype, but he apparently didn't think he would be caught" Frowny said as he crossed his arms. "I think we should find a way to get the Playcare back, but this time-" as Bitty Kitty said this though they all heard some sounds coming from the Playcare, sounded a lot like construction. They each look at one another before they run towards the Playcare. As they run, Sharp Charp runs into Hoppy almost knocking the rabbit down. "Hoppy, you're okay!" the porcupine says with a big smile as he helps Hoppy balance themself. "Guys! There you are! We need help!" as Hoppy said this the critters were all confused the toys however understood gravely. "Rich..." was all that was said to get them all running after Hoppy who ran ahead, Catnap didn't follow, he wasn't ready to see another Dogday, he knew Rich was going to become Dogday, but he couldn't bring himself to see the transformation since he remembered his own vividly.

Hoppy was trying to help the Dogday prototype and Rich but they seemed to have no clue what they were doing, Hoppy had to find someone who could, they remembered Dogday was about to get out obedience chips, so perhaps Dogday would be able to help Richard, or maybe even Catnap because Catnap seemed to relax a lot around Rich and make him comfortable. Hoppy watched the Dogdays make their way into the Playcare and Hoppy made it their mission to find the other critters, as they turned around to find the other critters though Miss Delight stood there with a ruler, a glare on her face, and her arms were crossed in front of her. Hoppy eyes the ruler and takes a step back "hi Miss Delight, everything alright?" as Hoppy said this Miss Delight sighed and responded "I know you saw the two make their way in the Playcare, but I need to speak to you on an important matter Hoppy, it's about the future of the Playcare" Miss Delight said this, often she would be happy with changes but the changes the CEO had in mind... those weren't good changes.
