Chapter 492

Catnap groans in pain as he wakes up to a bright white light shining in his face. Catnap tried to move one of his paws to block the light, but he soon realized he couldn't, his eyes open fully and he looked around his surroundings with widened eyes full of alarm when he sees that he is in a lab, again. This time though Hoppy was next to him tied down as well, and he noticed two new mascot suits near him and Hoppy. "H-Hoppy, wake up" he tried to get Hoppy to wake up unsure how long either of them were knocked unconscious for, but knowing the situation they were in wouldn't be good. "Hoppy, please wake up..!" Catnap sounded desperate to wake his friend up at this point not wanting to go through this alone. "Hoppy please... please wake up...!" Catnap's ears were lowering with every failed call to wake his friend up. "Hoppy please..!" Catnap had tried once more but this time his ears perked up listening to Hoppy's groan. "Wha... where are we.. Catnap?" Hoppy looked up groggily at their surroundings and Catnap. "I'm not sure, but it seems we might be back in the lab... The Smiling Critters Lab" as Catnap said this he saw Hoppy's ears lower around their head and their expression turn into one of fear. "Catnap... why are we back here?!" Hoppy started to freak out, but Catnap tried his best to calm the rabbit down "Hoppy hey hey, shhh.. we will be fine..." Catnap attempted to calm Hoppy down but as soon as Hoppy saw the mascot suits surrounding them the rabbit was well aware what might happen to them. "Catnap..." Hoppy whispers, Catnap can hear the fear in the rabbit's tone but he decided to try and put on a brave face for his friend's sake. "Yes Hoppy?" Catnap asks tilting his head in a bit of confusion. "W-We are getting the new suits" Hoppy said as their eyes couldn't seem to look away from the Catnap suit, the new Catnap suit looked monstrous compared to the regular Catnap suit they saw in the lab before. "Catnap... your suit" Hoppy tried to get Catnap to look at the suit but it seemed the feline was terrified of becoming that thing. "I know... I saw it, and.. I-I don't want to become it" Catnap said in a small voice. Hoppy understood the fear that Catnap was feeling, they doubted that anyone would want to become that thing... especially since it looked so boney and dangerous in a way. "You're going to have some.. new upgrades with your suit" Hoppy said as they took notice of the large paws and sharp claws. "I don't want to be reminded.. please Hoppy" Catnap said still avoiding any contact with the giant Catnap suit. "I'm sure it's not... that bad" Hoppy tried to reassure their friend but to no avail as Catnap just hung his head low and shook it almost looking defeated in a way Hoppy didn't like.
