Smiling Critters continues on...

Chapter 470

Catnap watched in horror as the Dogday prototype started to also ignite, the mini critters started to run out of the suit in an attempt to escape but the debris from the school's ceiling made it near impossible for any of them to get out. Rich's Dogday form was laying limply on the ground, it was obvious that the human inside the suit had died, it was too late to save anyone else, so Catnap just ran with those he knew he could save. The mini critter's cries were heard from behind as he turned the corner and seen Miss Delight walking out of the exit. Catnap was still a ways behind but he ended up escaping with Miss Delight and Frowny Fox. "I'm so glad that Shade, Small Frown, and Gloom weren't here" Frowny said as his face was clearly showing visible fear. Miss Delight looked a bit more stoic but her trembling hands told a different story. Catnap sighs as he too felt worried that they were getting out of there. "I can't believe the CEO would do this... Bitty Kitty and Sharp Charm were just kids..." Catnap spoke in a small voice as he felt tears growing in his eyes. "Who... who will tell Dogday?" Miss Delight's question got Catnap and Frowny Fox to freeze, Bitty Kitty and Sharp Charm were like Dogday's kids... without them, how would he react knowing they're... "oh no..." Catnap spoke with wide eyes.

Mommy and Poppy made their way through the tunnels trying to find Dogday, they looked everywhere for him, but they couldn't find him. Unfortunately when they went down the middle tunnels the cell doors were all locked, and the small windows that they had were blocked from view, only the cameras inside the cells, and the windows inside each cell were all connected. The Smiling Critters could all hear each other but not the outside world, whoever was in the security room had kept the critters all blocked away from the outside world, they only were able to hear themselves speaking quietly to each other. Dogday wasn't able to hear the other critters, his cell was silent from the outside world, the other critters could hear what went down in his cell, but he couldn't hear any of them. Dogday felt more and more alone as he waited for Lively and Lovely to come back. Mommy and Poppy couldn't see the critters in the cells so they decided that the cells were all empty and continued to look for Dogday. "Shouldn't we split up?" Poppy suggests, but Mommy shakes her head "no, that's what they want us to do, what if he is down here?" Mommy asks, but Poppy rolls her eyes "of course the Prototype is down here" she spoke but that didn't help her as Mommy just glared at the doll and kept walking, the two weren't making much progress and they weren't sure how long it would take to find Dogday, they were unaware that the one they were fighting for was already gone.
