Smiling Critters continues on...

Chapter 578

The CEO storms the factory in anger. "Why wasn't anyone watching the orphans?!" he shouts as he looked at the long line of Delight sisters. "We're getting our new upgrades sir.." one of the sisters said meekly. "I see that, but the orphans are running wild and we have to get them all back" the CEO taps his foot impatiently. "We should tell the scientist..." the sisters all agree but the CEO just rolls his eyes. "Do all you can but I expect them all back" the CEO walks off in anger passing by Hoppy again. Hoppy stops him from going into the Playcare. "Not letting you go back in there until the orphans are all found" Hoppy was angry at the CEO since he seemed to be doing a poor job keeping everyone safe. Scientists, construction workers, even babies had been killed off by mini critters and other monsters in the factory. Not to mention the cops... the CEO's eye twitches in annoyance. "This is just stupid" he mumbles and turns back around to look for the missing orphans because he knew that Hoppy would only get in his way if he didn't do what he was told.

The orphans they were looking for weren't sure where to even go in the factory. A few were afraid to go anywhere, but after some coaxing they all ended up walking around the factory trying to find an exit. "This place is scary..." one of them spoke in a small voice with their shoulders hunched. "Yeah, but we-we just need to find an exit and we should be fine" a boy reminded the little girl. "I don't like this place... I miss the Playcare... it was always so nice there" a little girl said with a smile but it quickly dropped as they all heard a noise. "W-What was that?" asked one of the kids there "I'm not sure but... everyone stay close" the boy said as they started to all hold each other's hands and walk together. None of them were aware of the red hand that followed them.

Earlier below the surface

"Alright Boxy Boo, you'll be sent up again, but we need to first make sure you know the rules" Lively said as he crawls over. He and Lovely finally had a break from Catnap and they decided to bother Boxy Boo for a bit. Boxy Boo was a bit annoyed to see them since it seemed that they were just trying to annoy him or get him to work with them and the Prototype. He kept wondering where the Prototype was though, he hadn't see or heard from him for a while, which in itself was concerning because the Prototype is usually busy keeping an eye on everyone and everything going on. "Boxy Boo listen!" Boxy Boo looked at Lively and noticed something... a map for the surface. "You'll be able to see everything and figure out where to go when you're needed, just make sure you're not stupid" Lively said as he handed the map to Boxy.
