Chapter 479

Catnap was pacing the hallway. "Catnap you need to relax, sit down for a bit you've been pacing around since we decided to do this" Frowny Fox said as he looked at Catnap nervously. "I can't relax, we should start moving already!" Catnap spoke with urgency, but Frowny Fox just shook his head "we can't we don't even know where to go from here" Frowny tried to get Catnap to understand but the purple feline just hissed at him every time he tried to move towards him. "Look Catnap we can relax here for a while, it won't kill us" as Frowny said this though Catnap seemed to get angry. "No! You guys won't be killed but I will" Catnap was furious but he took a deep breath to calm down. "I'm sorry... I-I just don't want to die... again" Catnap was hugging himself and seemly holding himself together. "Hey it's fine, I understand" Frowny said as he still sat on the floor near a few of the orphans who were just waking up. "Morning sleepyheads" Frowny said with a small smirk. "Morning Frowny.. morning Catnap" the orphan girl said as she rubbed her eyes and yawned. "Sleep well?" Frowny asked as she nods "yeah, had a weird dream though, it was about Catnap" as the orphan girl said this Frowny looked towards Catnap with a worried frown. "What was the dream about?" he asked as he rubbed the orphan girl's shoulder a bit "Catnap was on an operating table with a few of the scientists standing above him" with that image in their heads Frowny Fox and Catnap look at each other with worried expressions. "That's... quite a dream" Frowny said as the orphan girl nods and gets up to go over to Miss Delight and talk to her about breakfast. "Operation table?" Catnap mumbles and looks at Frowny Fox who in turn seemed to be deep in thought. "I'm not sure what that means..." he said in a low tone as to not have the others hear them. "Let's go somewhere else to talk" Frowny suggests and the two walk away from the orphans, Miss Delight, and her sisters. They make their way to the train station and they sit in front of the train. "This place was always creepy to me" Frowny said as he makes his way towards the train cart. "Yeah, always was weird how most things happened in this very particular location in the factory, especially that last one with the mini critters attacking that family" as Catnap brought that memory back Frowny Fox sighed "wasn't a good idea to start the train with that family onboard" Frowny said, but Catnap just shrugs "we didn't know there were runaway critters, it wasn't our fault" Catnap didn't want to take the blame but a small part of him was indeed guilty that the family had died such a gruesome fate at the hands of the mini critters, he knew the mini critters liked to burrow.
