Chapter 521

The CEO finally finished the tapes. "Nobody will be able to figure out if they're real or not" he mumbles under his breath. The CEO yawns as he's been up for over twenty-four hours. "Can't sleep... it's all coming together" he mumbles as he continues his work. A knock at his door gets his attention "come in" he speaks up and is surprised when one of his employees comes in. "What can I do for you?" he asks a bit skeptical since most of his employees are afraid of him, but it seems that this one wasn't so scared of him. "Sir, I'm needing my last check, my family-" before the employee could finish his sentence though the CEO sighs dramatically "look I'll get your paycheck soon, I've been extremely busy though, we have a lot of changes coming up and we need a lot of time to be getting everything done on time for the future" the CEO tries to explain but the employee just scowls. "I don't care for the business anymore, this factory has screwed over my family and my own future" the employee seemed mad but the CEO looked at them with a bored expression. "Are you sure you want to leave right now?" the CEO asked with a straight face. The employee nods his head and the CEO nods his own agreeing to let the man go back to his family. "Go on then... you're free to go" the CEO speaks with a straight face but it seemed something was up, the employee didn't seem worried though as he huffs and walks out of the CEO's office. The CEO sighs and presses a button on his desk before speaking into a speaker "an employee is leaving... make sure that they don't get far" he looks at the speaker waiting for a response and he heard a voice responding "on it" from the other end, the CEO just smirks and laughs a bit after that. "Nobody leaves this place alive" he speaks with a dark chuckle before getting up and walking to the Playcare to check on their progress. As he walks into the Playcare's hallway though he feels the air around him shift. He walks a bit but above him he can hear something in the vent, something big enough to have twelve legs it seemed, he saw flashes of grey above him and they immediately disappeared as quick as they came. 'I wonder what that was all about' thought the CEO as he merely shrugs and continued down the hallway, as he passes by Miss Delight and her sisters though he notices something else, Miss Delight seemed to be isolated from them. He raises a brow at this because normally Miss Delight and her sisters are very close together and always treating each other like family, however this was unexpected since seeing Miss Delight looking so upset in the corner while her sisters seem to be tending to the orphans, it felt... wrong.
