Smiling Critters continues on...

Chapter 535

One of the construction workers comes out of the Playcare yelling about evil stuffed animals before he makes contact with Miss Delight. "You, you work with them?!" the worker said as he tries to run the other way but immediately stops remembering the mini critters. He wasn't sure why he ran out of the Playcare so quickly, he probably looked stupid to his coworkers who were still in there. He didn't even think to look at his coworkers he was just occupied with finding an exit out of that place. He ran without thinking and that led him to Miss Delight and her sisters. He looked behind him at the teachers. "Are you okay?" Miss Delight asks. The shaken human in front of her seemed to freeze. "Hey don't worry, we're not-" but before Miss Delight could finish her sentence the man holds up his left hand to her. "Look, I know not all of you are bad... but I need you to understand that those mini critters in there are evil" he said with a shaky tone. "They are... but they haven't always been that way, something must've happened" Miss Delight said as she took in the man in front of her. "You need to sit down?" she asks as the man nods a bit and as he's about to sit one of Miss Delight's sisters comes up from behind him "don't bother with her" the sister smiles sweetly and hold her hands in front of herself very stoic posture. The man turns towards her and feels uneasy. "What do you mean?" he asks trying to mask his fear. "I'm saying don't bother wasting your time with that one" Miss Delight's sister motions her head towards Miss Delight earning a scoff from her. "Why not-" the human was about to ask but stops as he sees a huge monster walking over. Miss Delight sees him too, and notices her sister left and is forming a line with the rest of Miss Delight's sisters to keep the kids "safe" as they put it. Miss Delight though hurt from her sisters, looked at Killy Willy and invited him over to try and explain the human's situation to him. Killy seems disinterested but he didn't seem to have a choice in the matter. Surprisingly Miss Delight was always Killy's favorite teacher when he was an orphan, but he would never admit it, he respected Miss Delight as she had proven herself to be very strong despite her size. He listened to what she had to say and turned to the human, they talked a bit. Miss Delight smiles and looked at her sisters, but they didn't seem pleased in the slightest. She rose a brow at them and placed her hands on her hips as a way to challenge them. Her sisters however just stare and roll their eyes. When Killy leaves though Miss Delight turns back to the human and notices the guy seemed a bit calmer. "We will all leave this place alive" he vows.
