Chapter 589

The CEO's voice was on the recording. In a condescending tone he brought up the facts that Dogday already knew and some new points that Dogday had no idea about. "What... what did he mean by The Hour... what is he playing?!" demands Dogday, but Catnap just stares at him with that wide grin and as the recording stops Catnap looks directly at Dogday. "C-Catnap...?" Dogday asks as Catnap gets close and blows his Poppy gas into Dogday's face causing Dogday to cough and then fall limp asleep. "Sleep." was all Catnap was able to say as he walks off towards the exit with the recorder, leaving Dogday in the cell as he got ready for the hour. "The hour of what..?" Dogday was scared and worried about what the recording meant by the hour, it wasn't going to be good from the sound of it since the CEO had a part in it. Dogday growls when he hears footsteps approaching again, but this time it was Boxy Boo that came over. "What do you want?" Dogday asked a bit frustrated as he used to see Boxy Boo as a friend, but it seemed Boxy Boo didn't care at all "listen Dogday, Catnap has an important role to play now, and he has new friends and a better purpose in this life, we want you to join us when the time comes, the Prototype has big plans to help all the toys here" Boxy explained but Dogday just growls "never, you all are monsters!" as Dogday said this though Boxy Boo just laughed "you're also a monster Dogday... must I remind you that you helped the CEO kill those kids and make them into your friends?" Boxy Boo brought up one of Dogday's biggest regrets but it seemed Dogday didn't even care as he just growls out "I didn't have a choice!" Boxy Boo laughs "of course you had a choice, we all do here, but you're choosing the wrong choices, you're supposed to be a leader and yet here you are, hanging by your arms, completely at the mercy of the Prototype" Boxy sneers as Dogday, but Dogday wasn't scared and he most certainly wouldn't back down. "I'm not joining you monsters!" he shouts at Boxy Boo, but it seemed that Boxy Boo didn't care what he had to say as he just rolls his eyes "look I'm giving you a chance here to either join us, or... be a heretic and see where that gets you" Boxy Boo looks directly at Dogday but Dogday shakes his head in defiance "I will not be joining you freaks, the Prototype will destroy us all" and with that said Boxy Boo sighs and walks off. Clearly thinking he's won Dogday relaxes a bit. He tries to think of happier times, the children laughing, and the other Smiling Critters all playing around and having fun with each other, he thinks about his friends before all this... he wonders how they're all doing...
