The Smiling Critters heard something outside their doors, crawling and scraping against the floor. They weren't sure what it was, but they weren't going to see. "W-Who's out there?" asked Kickin as the creature had crawled away. They all then heard a voice in the distance "where have you been?" "my apologies I was busy-" a slap was heard and something fell. The dragging resumed on and it got further and further until they couldn't hear it anymore.

Dogday and Catnap tried to run, but they soon got cornered. "Where do you think you're going?" asked the white lynx who was carrying another over their shoulder, the other one was grey and Dogday recognized it. "Lively?" as he said this though the white lynx froze. "You.. you remember..." the white lynx said in a quiet tone. Catnap looked between the two confused, but said nothing as the white lynx placed the grey one, Lively, as Dogday called it. "How well do you recognize us Dogday... your best friends, thrown away by the scientists, and you... you did nothing to save us" as the white lynx closed in Catnap stood in front of Dogday "what's going on?" he asked as the white lynx stopped in their tracks. "You replaced us with a purple cat?" the white lynx's expression was that of betrayal and hurt, Dogday felt bad, but he couldn't bring himself to speak, so he nods his head as Catnap and the lynx gasp in shock. "How could yo-" a voice interrupted them on the speaker system "enough Lovely Lynx, grab your brother and return to your post" the lynx now known as Lovely mumbles under their breath as they turn from the two mascots, Lovely goes over to the grey lynx and picks them up off the floor. "Don't make me catch you down here again... Dogday" Lovely Lynx glares at the two before walking off. Catnap turns to Dogday with a scowl "explain yourself now!" he demands but is cut off as the speaker turns on "take the doll and spider with you" as the speaker said this Mommy and Poppy walk out of the circus tent. "Wait- oh shoot we forgot to bring you two with us" Mommy and Poppy looked at each other before glaring at Dogday. "Alright, you really do need to explain, we heard those lynx know you, and we want to know how they do" Poppy said as she crossed her arms. "I think I can explain that" a voice came from behind Catnap and Dogday, the two turned around to see Frowny Fox, Bitty Kitty, and Sharp Charm all walk out from the shadows. "Wait, you all are down here?" Dogday looked shocked as he seen the looks on Bitty Kitty and Sharp Charm's face, both seemed disappointed. "Dogday, when were you going to tell us there were other critters? Especially those under the Prototype's control" Frowny Fox said this but Dogday looked away in shame.
