(Wondering when the day will be when I lose motivation for this series... not today though, anyone wondering the same thing?)
"We should really quit this job and just move on while we still can" one of the construction workers complains to his colleagues. The rest agreed but one was still curious "what was that thing?" he demanded answers from Elliot. "Why does that matter to you, I created that Huggy Wuggy as a replacement for the blue one since I can't seem to control any of these idiotic toys anymore" Elliot was annoyed but all the construction workers weren't happy about that. "You created it?" one asked skeptically, and Elliot rolls his eyes "yes I create toys and life sized toys, or mascots that the children and families can interact with here" as Elliot explained this the construction workers all seemed annoyed. "So that green monster is supposed to replace the original?" Elliot nods at the question "yes since the original doesn't seem child friendly anymore" as Elliot said this the construction workers all dropped their tools. "We don't want to be apart of this project anymore" one of them said. "And why's that?" Elliot challenged with a raised brow. "Because these things in here, these aren't toys they're monsters!" a few murmured agreements were heard as one of the construction workers snapped at Elliot. "Look, we don't want anymore of these creatures to attack us, we've lost a lot of good people and even a lot of money because this project hasn't been the safest nor the most efficient, especially since the mini critters haven't been all rounded up and we watched a few coworkers get mauled by them" the construction workers were all mad at the CEO and how he ran this company, but Elliot didn't seem to care. "Look I create these toys with a purpose, one purpose was because it's simply easier for the company to have more areas for expansion of production and the kids love each of The Smiling Critters, this change will be good for the company, I swear" Elliot tried to get them to see his vision but a few weren't buying it. "You're crazy Elliot, these kids here weren't even-" "the kids here are able to get adopted, we allow it all the time" Elliot tried to cover up the fact that none of the kids actually got adopted but it seemed someone spoke behind his back. "That's not what I heard" one of the construction workers said as he stood there with his arms crossed looking directly at Elliot. "What do you mean?" Elliot was sure he already knew but he needed to be truly sure as he looked at the situation he was in. "I heard from one of your scientists here that you actually ki-" "what?! No no that isn't Playtime Co. appropriate, shame on you!" Elliot said with a look that screamed "who said that to him?" towards all the scientists in the room with them.
