Smiling Critters continues on...

Chapter 588

Dogday looks around the cell and notices a lot of similarities between the cell from his dreams and the cell he is in now, yet.... were they really dreams, or something more? Dogday's ears perk up a bit when he hears Boxy Boo and Killy telling Catnap that it's almost time, time for what though... Dogday has no idea what they mean, but it's not long before he hears the door close and the silence is deafening. All Dogday can hear now is his own breathing, his inner thoughts, his shaking voice whenever he tries to speak to himself, and... giggling. Dogday looked down and saw a Kickin' Chicken mini critter sitting in front of him, Dogday looked away for a second and a Hoppy Hopscotch mini critter was there. "Where are you guys even coming from?" he asked but as soon as he did he immediately regret it as a few other mini critters shown up, some were coming from the sides of the cell from pipes that connected the cells to the other play areas, and some of the mini critters even came from the ceiling landing on Dogday's head causing him to shake his head to get them off. By the time the mini critters all settled though Dogday was shocked to see so many sitting in front of him. "Uhh.." he felt nervous though, he knew that the mini critters normally were aggressive, but he didn't know how aggressive... they just kinda stood there looking up at Dogday, but they made no moves. Dogday was about to ask them a question but the doors opened scaring off all the mini critters, and revealing Catnap. "Oh great... what do you want traitor?" he asked the purple feline who was once a friend. Catnap stood there silently as he brought out a recorder and pressed rewind on a recording that someone had made. When the recording started rolling though... Dogday's blood ran cold.

Hoppy was now the leader for a while and they knew the others needed their guidance, anything that happened to them would be on Hoppy's shoulders and they knew they couldn't mess up. If they did, everything would fall apart, they had to find their friends and get out as fast as they could, but even Hoppy knew that a few of them couldn't be saved. No matter though, Hoppy would do their best as leader to make sure those who wanted to come got out with them. "I won't let you down" they whispered under their breath and snuck a glance behind them, everyone walked behind Hoppy with determination, and smiles, granted the smiles were forced upon a few of them, but Hoppy was also one to have a forced smile. 'At least a few of us will be saved from this torture here, and we never even have to come back once we escape' Hoppy thought as they took a breath and started to guide everyone around the factory to try and find Small Frown.
