Chapter 462

As the Dogday prototype made its way into the school he noticed that he didn't have long until the scientists came to destroy the building. The plushies inside of the Dogday prototype were all hesitant to stay and help Rich, but they didn't have a choice considering that Rich's life won't last forever. The Dogday prototype looked up confused as a tap was heard from a grate above him. The Dogday prototype was a bit confused since it wasn't who he thought would come help at all.

Dogday fell and to his surprise Killy Willy had caught him. "What are you doing here?" he asked as the monster stood over him. "I could ask you the same, I was up on the surface for a while trying to find where the others were, I couldn't find Hoppy or anyone else, so I decided to come down here and check" Killy said as he set Dogday back on his feet. "Look I'm not sure I understand this place, it's huge, and it's like a maze, I'm trying to find the Prototype and the lynx twins, and-" "yeah I know, but you won't find the Prototype here, and the lynx twins you passed a few times, they want nothing to do with you after your little... confession" as Killy said this glaring at Dogday the poor Dogday hung his head low. "Look I know what I did was wrong, but-" "but nothing you replaced them, with other Smiling Critters!" Killy looked angry, but Dogday just shook his head "it's not like that Killy, I didn't have a choice, the CEO-" "yeah, I know..." Killy spoke in a low tone causing Dogday to freeze "wait what?" Dogday looked at Killy confused "I know you didn't have a choice, I don't think any of us have one at this point, most of us are just... pawns" Killy spoke as if he had known the whole time, but Dogday was concerned "you knew this entire time... didn't you?" Dogday asked with a small frown when Killy nods his head Dogday sighs. "So basically we are all pawns to the Prototype and the CEO" Dogday confirmed and Killy nods in agreement "that is correct, he seemed to only-" as Killy was about to explain why they both heard a laugh come from somewhere above. "Who is that?" Dogday asks and Killy growls "it's Daddy Longlegs" as Killy said this another laugh was heard but one sounded childish "a baby Longlegs" Killy said with annoyance. Sure enough the two spider-like human toys came out from the shadows above. "Why hello Dogday, you remember us?" Daddy Longlegs spoke in a sinister voice as he and his son both jumped down to the ground. "It's been a while... hasn't it?" Daddy Longlegs tilts his head as baby Longlegs just giggles "it's funny, we didn't expect to see you down here, where all the rejects are..." Daddy Longlegs speaks with a smile as he circles around Killy Willy and Dogday. "Welcome to our domain" Daddy Longlegs spoke as he and baby Longlegs crawled forward.
