Chapter 493

The CEO and the scientists were watching Catnap and Hoppy's interaction behind a one way window. "They seem to understand what their futures look like" the CEO said with a smirk as he noticed Catnap avoiding looking at his new suit. "I'm sure that Catnap would love his new suit when he gets into it" he chuckles as the scientist around him all look at each other unsure how to feel about this whole thing. "Well, it's time to start the true experiment" the CEO smiles and walks out leaving the scientists to start working. "I'm worried about this experiment, normally transferring into normal suits is simple... but Catnap's new suit isn't normal... it's... complicated" the scientist explains to his colleagues who all nod in agreement. "How are we going to do this?" one asks as they all turn to watch the two mascots speaking to each other. "This is so dumb..." one of the scientists mumbles under their breath.

Catnap flinches as the door opens and the scientists start to enter. "Hello you two, welcome to your new lives" the scientist spoke in a monotone voice. The voice just served to confuse the two mascots. "What do you mean new lives?" asked Hoppy clearly confused. "Don't worry about it, you two will just be apart of the future of not just the Playcare but all of Playtime Co." the scientist said with a straight face. "But that's not what we want, we don't want to be apart of-" Hoppy tried to explain but the scientist ignored them and instead spoke up "you guys don't have a choice, you're just toys, not humans... anymore" the scientist started to laugh when he saw Catnap and Hoppy's expressions. "What..?" Catnap said as the scientist just shrugged. "Don't worry too much guys, you'll get used to it eventually" the scientist says this clearly not caring if Catnap and Hoppy get used to it or not. "Let's get to work" he said as he grabs a bone saw and walks over to Hoppy. Hoppy clearly afraid of what's going to happen starts to struggle against the straps and try with all their might to get away from the bone saw. The scientist stopped in front of the rabbit, and immediately saw the terror in the poor rabbit's face, but that just caused the scientist to laugh. "Don't worry Hoppy, you'll get used to this, plus it seems you're already used to losing part of yourself" as the scientist said this Hoppy suddenly felt self conscious of their legs, or rather Dogday's legs. "Don't say that to them!" Catnap hisses trying to defend his friend. "Oh? Why Catnap, why should I keep quiet about the fact that Hoppy has Dogday's legs?" the scientist was clearly finding joy in this. "Because it's none of your business why" Catnap said with a hiss. The scientist rolled his eyes and pulled out a scalpel. "Perhaps we start with you instead" the scientist smirks and makes his way over to Catnap.
