Smiling Critters continues on...

Chapter 560

By the time Shade and Gloom got back to the others they were met with a weird sight. The Prototype's claw was in the hallway with Dogday, Hoppy, Bubba, and Craftycorn looking ready to tear it apart. Gloom noticed that the CEO's office door slammed open and Killy came out with Huggy's blue arm hanging out of his mouth. Gloom and Shade decided to stay in the vent and watch what would happen, it was less risky that way. The CEO seemed to be held back by Happy Husky, but something wasn't right, it seemed that the CEO wasn't struggling to escape. He seemed almost... satisfied. Gloom and Shade didn't feel good about this, something wasn't right but neither knew what was going to happen as Killy charged at The Smiling Critters. Dogday growls and charged Killy, but Killy was obviously stronger and punched Dogday in his gut causing Dogday to fall to his front paws and knees. Dogday was doubled over groaning in pain, but Killy wasn't done yet, he grabbed Dogday by his scruff and slams him against the wall. Dogday's smile did a good job masking his fear as he stared into the many eyes of Killy Willy. "Killy stop!" Hoppy tried to tell him that the CEO was getting away, but was stopped as the Prototype's claw had jumped onto them and tried to pierce into their skull, luckily Bubba and Craftycorn were there and they were fed up with everything going on. "That's enough!" Craftycorn shouts as she tackles the Prototype's claw off of Hoppy and held it down. Bubba was shocked but quickly shook his shock off and ran over to help hold down the Prototype. "You're not going anywhere!" Bubba said as he and Hoppy managed to capture the stupid claw. "Guys, the CEO's escaping!" Hoppy yells and runs off to chase down the CEO and Happy Husky. "Happy Husky... I thought you didn't like him..." Hoppy mutters angrily under their breath. "Obviously that was a lie" Hoppy growls out as they're running down the hall though they hear a thud and a grunt as someone falls, sounded like the CEO. Hoppy quickly turns the corner to see the CEO on his stomach and Bobby and Picky standing above him rubbing their heads. "Bobby! Picky!" Hoppy ran over to the two and hugged them both relieved they were okay. "Hoppy you're okay!" Bobby laughs and hugs Hoppy tight, but they hear a groan and the CEO gets up glaring at the three. "Stop!" yells Hoppy but the CEO just laughs and begins to run down the hallway again. Hoppy runs after him but this time Bobby and Picky give chase as well. "We're right behind you Hoppy" Bobby said sounding determined to get the CEO and making him pay.

Dogday looked towards Bubba and Craftycorn when he saw Hoppy run off, he was still being held down by Killy and it seemed the monster had deadly plans for him. "Killy please you and me both hate the CEO, yeah?" Dogday asks with hope in his voice. That hope was shattered though as Killy said his next sentence.
