The moment Hoppy woke up they were met with a bright lamp hanging over their head. They hissed a bit and turned their head away from the light, but they flinched a bit when they felt cold hand on their face. Their ears swiveled towards the voices, or at least they tried... why weren't Hoppy's ears moving?! Hoppy gasps and tries to bring their hands up to their face but they can't, they were trapped, Hoppy was confused though "what's going on?" they ask as the scientists come over to observe. "Don't panic Hoppy, everything will be fine, we just gave you some upgrades" the head scientist said with a smile. That smile didn't sit well with Hoppy as they turned their head away and tried to escape the hands that kept trying to touch their face and it annoyed them. "Get your hands off me!" Hoppy shouts and tries to shake their head to get rid of the annoying hands, but they were held down instead. "Don't panic Hoppy, this is a good thing for you, try to move your mouth for me" the head scientist said with a smile as he was positioned above Hoppy's head gently caressing their head, and Hoppy was uncomfortable, until they worried. "Where is Catnap?!" Hoppy asks as they try to turn their head to find the purple feline, but Catnap was not in the room. "Where is Catnap you bastards?!" Hoppy demanded, but the scientists all just laugh and ignore the rabbit. "What did you do to Catnap?!" Hoppy seemed to be in a panic now as they kept trying to scream for Catnap and undo the straps that held their ankles, wrists, and waist down on the table. "Let me go!" Hoppy yells trying to escape, but to no avail as the scientists just shush Hoppy. "Shhhh.... don't worry Hoppy, we assure you that Catnap is safe, he's just with the Prototype and-" before the head scientist could continue Hoppy screams at him "Catnap shouldn't be near the Prototype! Catnap is innocent, the Prototype is going to-" before Hoppy can continue though the scientists all silence the rabbit "enough of this behavior Hoppy, we must talk about your future, not Catnap's" the head scientist said with a small smirk, and Hoppy could do nothing but feel worried since they never seen the scientist looking so... deranged. Hoppy tries to frown, it feels like they're frowning, but for some odd reason they can feel their face... smiling. "What's going on with my face?" Hoppy asks as the scientist all smirk, all except for Samantha. "Don't worry Hoppy, it's apart of the upgrades to you and the rest of the Smiling Critters will also be getting them too, you also got a new body-" the scientist who was in the back of the room spoke in a Russian accent. "New body?" Hoppy interrupts a bit worried, they tried to look at their body but they couldn't as the scientist all seemed to keep Hoppy's head up. "Eyes up here Hoppy... look at me" the head scientist said with a dangerous look in his eyes.
