"Will we be sent back up to the surface?" asked Picky Piggy in a hopeful voice. As she asked that the other critters all looked up hopeful. "Of course you will all be sent to the surface again" Lively said with fake cheerfulness, but the critters didn't seem to care they were all just excited to be able to get out of these cells. Lively smiles a bitter smile but it's not like they could see his smile. "You all just need to do something for us" Lively said causing the critters to fall silent. "What's that?" asked Craftycorn sounding a bit scared. "You all need to find scientists up there and get a certain upgrade to your suits" Lively explains calmly, he listened to the Smiling Critters all mumble a bit, seems like the critters were a bit skeptical. "What do the upgrades do?" asked Bubba sounding a lot more demanding than intended. "Ah don't worry they're just new suits for you guys, new-" as Lively was talking though Bobby Bearhug seemed the most skeptical "why would we need new suits?" she asked sounding a bit angry. "Don't worry, it's just a new suit, you all have collected dust and dirt from being down here, haven't you?" Lively said knowing the exact answer. The Smiling Critters all looked at their own suits and indeed they were dusty and dirty from being down here. "I guess you're right, but can't we just wash them?" Bobby tried to explain but Lively just laughed at her. "Oh no no no Bobby, that won't do, you all need the new suits because the children won't like the old suits, especially when you all can see the dust and dirt all over yourselves, think about what the kids would think" Lively said shaking his head disappointed as he really had to think why the critters would all be okay showing themselves dirty to the kids, it wouldn't look good for the company at all. "Don't worry guy, the new suits will make sure that you all are clean, and presentable for the public again" Lively said with a small laugh, the critters couldn't see the sinister smirk on Lively's face since they were all in their cells, but it seemed like Lively was winning them all over. A pause and finally Kickin' Chicken spoke up "would we really be free?" he asked in a small voice. Lively smirks knowing the truthful answer but deciding none of them deserve the truth, he lies to them instead "of course, you'll all be free to leave the factory after you all get your new upgraded suits, you won't have to worry about anything after that" normally the voices of reason in the group would be their leader Dogday, but since he's not here they were on their own to decide. "H-How would we escape?" Craftycorn asks a bit worried but Lively was fully prepared for these questions as he answered "don't worry, the Prototype will help you all" and with that The Smiling Critters decided their fates.
