Smiling Critters continues on...

Chapter 562

(Small headcanon for Catnap (small spoiler if you haven't already seen the end of Chapter 3): I like to think that Catnap really feels constant pain when he moves especially since he's seen always walking and moving slowly until the end , even when he did his boss fight he still walked slowly, until when he's caught on fire, I'm pretty sure anyone would ignore all other pain they're feeling if they were on fire like he was. This is just my own take on it, hope you all enjoy it!)

Catnap followed the Lynx twins as they were laughing joyfully. "Catnap this is going to be the best time!" Lovely spoke as Lively had his arms wrapped around his sister's neck in piggyback position. "I think Catnap needs to learn his place here" Lively said as he looked at the large purple feline towering over the two, mainly Lively. Catnap was angry at the two after all the torture they put him through, it didn't help make his choice obvious that he didn't want to join the Prototype, but the lengths these two are going through scared him. Catnap thought back to when he became conscious again, the two were towering over him, and he was watching them as they ended up grabbing buckets of water, some salt, and a few scalpels. Catnap wasn't sure what they were going to do with them, but he wished that he didn't find out the hard way.

Flashback

Catnap awoke during a random point in the day... or was it the night, he couldn't tell since he was underground, but it's thanks to that point that he realized that he didn't know how long it's been since he actually made the deal of 48 hours... 'oh no..' he thought about it more and more and realized that it's thanks to his choices that the Lynx twins and the Prototype could use it to their advantage, and use it they did. Catnap was shocked when he saw the Lynx twins standing over him as he was tied down to a table of sorts, but that wasn't the scary part, the scary part was that the Lynx twins had brought out a few things they would need to get Catnap to really understand that he needed to make the choices very carefully. Two buckets and a scalpel were set in front of Catnap's vision and he didn't need to read the contents of the buckets, as soon as he saw the evil smirks on the twins faces, he knew the contents of the buckets weren't going to be good. "What are you going to be doing to me?" asked Catnap worriedly, but the twins didn't register his worry as important. They continued to ignore him and do their thing, they smirk at Catnap and tell him "everything's going to be alright... just close your eyes" as they get to work. First thing they do is grab the scalpel and start to cut Catnap's armpits, and the back of his neck open. Then they smirk as Catnap is unable to really react with his smiling expression plastered on his face permanently, the Lynx twins snicker in satisfaction as they're slicing comes to an end, Catnap has his armpits, the back of his neck, his large paws, and the underside of his belly all sliced open. Catnap is shaking badly from the pain of being sliced open but that's not the worst of it, the twins reveal the first bucket's label to Catnap, much to his horror, salt.
