Chapter 435

Catnap was unsure how to feel about the situation, but it seemed he could trust these two. His eyes kept looking at the door they went through. He had to sneak out another way since he knew the CEO was somewhere out there.

The CEO paid no mind to the Dogday's that passed, he was busy trying to get Avery to accept his offer. She noticed the two though and gasps, that gasp causes the CEO to turn and look at the two Dogdays "you... what are you doing here, get back-" he tried to demand the Dogday but it simply walked passed him with Rich, completely ignoring the CEO. "You dare to defy me?!" the CEO shouts, Avery seemed scared as to what was going on, nothing seemed normal right now, who was this mascot, why was it carrying another mascot that looked like it, why did it smell so badly like... rotten flesh? Avery couldn't stop thinking about questions, her mind was going overboard with the questions but she looked at where the CEO tried to grab the mascot, but the mascot somehow managed to punch the CEO into his desk, a loud and painful sounding crack was heard as the CEO's back connected with the desk leaving it splintering a bit. Avery gasps as the mascot looks at her, says nothing, and continues walking out the door. Avery was in shock as the CEO lay there unconscious. She frantically pulled out her phone to call the ambulance.

Catnap was trying to look for an exit, but he heard a sound in the vent. "Hello?" he asks and was a bit surprised to see Poppy come into view "Catnap thank goodness... something's happened, something bad, it's-" Poppy tried to explain but Catnap put a paw up to get her to stop. "I understand that something happened but we do need to find out now what we can do to help ourselves" Catnap explained that he might have to join the Prototype but Poppy gasps and gets angry "you are NOT joining him, can't you tell he's bad news, not to be trusted, he's hurting others and he's-" Catnap laughed at Poppy when she tried to explain "look Poppy, we need to try something different, your way isn't working, you aren't doing anything to help us" Catnap said as Poppy looked at him in anger "I'm not helping?!" she yells but quickly stops herself from lashing out "I'm trying to figure out what the CEO is planning to-" Poppy tried to explain but Catnap stopped her "Poppy he seems to have a better plan then you, his plan has to do something with joy" Catnap said as Poppy gasps "wait what... no this-Joy?!" Poppy looked at Catnap horrified. "Yeah, I read the CEO's plans for the future and some of them make sense, he's planning to do something big, it said something about joy, and everything falling into place, I think the CEO and Prototype are working together to make this place into something better for everyone" as Catnap said this Poppy looked at him with a hurt expression. "Oh Catnap... you don't realize do you?" Poppy asks in a small voice and a frown.
