Smiling Critters continues on...

Chapter 584

Killy seemed to be winning the fight. PJ has never acted like this before, everyone was surprised to even see him out of his hiding spot. He often liked the dark, but- everyone passed by the front doors and noticed it was nighttime. 'Oh...' they all thought. As they were running though Gloom and Shade seemed to be getting restless, Bunzo jumped onto Hoppy's shoulder and looks down at Shade. "What's going on with her?" asked Bunzo seemingly worried for the fox, but Hoppy had no answers to give "I don't know..." was all they responded with and kept running. "I wonder where Dogday is..." Bunzo whispers but Hoppy heard him anyways "he's somewhere... we may have to actually find him and get his help for escape" Hoppy said to Bunzo but the others all heard and they weren't so sure. They all rounded a corner and were shocked still and silent with the scene in front of them.

Catnap was being released back to the surface. He looked up at the hatch opening. When he walked off the platform he saw Boxy Boo standing by the panel. "Catnap... glad you could join us" Boxy Boo sounded annoyed. Catnap felt the same way. Both were annoyed to be working on the opposite side of their friends. "We have to find Killy Willy, that way you can start on your half of the Prototype's plan" Boxy Boo explains and Catnap just nods along. "Y-You've really been trained huh..." Boxy Boo sighs when Catnap just nods his head like a robotic movement. "Catnap..." Boxy Boo seemed to want to say something but couldn't put it into words as he stares at the purple feline in front of him. "Come on..." was all he said before he led Catnap towards the CEO's office. "I'm not sure if he's in here or not, but we should try anything at this-" Boxy Boo stopped as he saw Dogday dragging himself across the floors. "Dogday what happened?!" Boxy Boo and Catnap ran over and as soon as Dogday saw Catnap he froze. "Don't hurt me please..." he whispers, and Catnap froze as well hearing that. Catnap quickly shakes his head, but Boxy Boo nudges him shaking his head to tell him no talking or communicating with any of The Smiling Critters. Catnap was crushed as he wasn't allowed to talk to his friends anymore. The more he thought about it though, maybe they didn't want to talk to him... Catnap turns his back to Dogday and sits down looking down the hallway. Boxy Boo is heard apologizing to Dogday before strangling sounds are heard as Catnap closes his eyes trying to block out the cries of Dogday. Boxy Boo doesn't kill Dogday though, he just has him by the neck and starts to drag him away from Catnap. "Find Killy and make sure the other Smiling Critters are put in their places" Boxy said as he drags Dogday away. Catnap nods his head slowly and makes his way through the factory. He wasn't sure where he was going but he knew that he didn't want to do this, he just didn't have a choice.
