I grabbed my notebook and shoved it in my backpack. I'm really enjoying the lectures but the homework and studying is getting to me a little. I hated to admit defeat so I didn't. I pushed through the sleepless nights and coffee cravings. I finished midterms. Bless my soul.

Now to do it all over again.

I might go crazy.

"Uber for Y/n/n". I looked up seeing Claudia. Billie had been focused on writing new songs. Finding inspiration for the theme and overall idea of her next album. I didn't mind, it worked out in my favor.

"You ready for tonight's party"? I looked at Claudia with fear in my eyes. I did not remember about their Halloween party. Oh they're going to kill me. I didn't even buy a costume. "Please don't tell me you forgot". I pouted and got ready to apologize. "It's okay you're busy with school. We can just stop by and buy a costume last minute". I smiled and kissed her cheek making her smile as well. "Thank you, thank you". I repeated.

"How's the concept coming out"? I asked and she groaned. "They've been locked in there all day arguing and laughing". I didn't even have to imagine it, I could hear them in my head. I might be going crazy, a little. "I'm sure they just need a break". I took out my vape and waved it in her face. "Go ahead". I'm not just going to start vaping in someone's car without asking.  That's rude. "You would think they would take a break, but no they're forcing themselves to finish a song". Claudia sounded and looked frustrated. "It'll be okay Claud, ill make them take a break". I tried comforting her and I hoped I could actually get them to take a break.

We reached their home and I could see Claudia kept herself busy and distracted from the siblings. The decorations were simple and not too crazy but you could tell they were well thought of. She even changed the color of the house lights. She had games set up outside. I was actually excited for later tonight.

"Arlo, were you a good boy"? Aro was staying with them cause peaches would cry if he left. So we just found this solution easier and better. "He was super good,I'm trying to use all the commands you wrote down but there is too many". I smiled at Claudia she's so sweet and kind. Like an older sister.

"I don't want that there, Jesus fucking Christ". Claudia let out a heavy sigh and rubbed her temples. "I got this". I patted her shoulder as I walked down to their basement/ studio.

"Hello"? Billie had her head in her hands. "Whoa what happened here"? There were papers all over the place. "We can't figure anything outttt"?! She yelled frustrated. Her face red. "No you just don't like anything I'm showing you".Finneas jumped in annoyed his fingers tapping at his pants anxiously. He shut his laptop. "How about this". I moved some papers aside and made room for me to sit on the couch. "You and I go look for a costume for me". I looked at finneas. "And you and Claudia go finish decorating". I suggested in a calming tone.

"We need to finish one song today or else we won't be caught up for the schedule". I shook my head at both of them. "You guys are not getting anything done like this. You're both annoyed and frustrated, taking it out on one another won't work. Plus I'm super good at music and I'll help". I joked but Finneas's eyes lit up. "Like a new perspective". I shook my head. "I was just joking". I deadpanned but Billie just looked at my with this spark in her eyes. "It would be cool though"...

"Fine if you guys promise to take breaks because y'all are being mean to Claudia"

We walked out of the room shaking on it. We all ran towards Claudia who looked like a deer in headlights. We hugged her tightly as they apologized. Claudia and I connected eyes. She mouthed 'thank you'. She had nothing to thank me for.

"I grabbed my phone and wallet. Now let me drive". I extended my hands out for Billie. "You are not driving Dragon after last time". I groaned  in annoyance but she was serious. "I didn't mean to slam the door that hard. It was an accident". She shook her head and pursed her lips. "Nope". Billie popped the 'p'. "Fine whatever".
