Shreya sneered and looked at Megha. "I have a good news for you."
"Good news?"
"Yes. Oh, but it may not be good news for you."
"What exactly are you getting at?" Megha thought that she couldn't possibly be bringing any good news.
"I'm pregnant," Shreya said.
Megha's eyes wavered.
Shreya said, "I just got pregnant. I'm barely two months into my pregnancy. Don't you want to know whose child it is?"
Immediately, an ominous feeling rose in Megha's chest.
But it was impossible.
It was definitely false.
Gautam could not have continued to have any contact with her. Right?
"The child belongs to Gautam." A sinister smile appeared on Shreya's face.
Megha's eyes twitched. "That's impossible."
Shreya broke out in laughter. "How is that impossible? I can understand why you don't believe me. But the child is indeed Gautam's. Back then, he specially had his sperms cryopreserved because he couldn't touch me. It was for my ICSI procedure (artificially insemination procedure) so that we could have children in the futute. But you... you came in between us."
