As December arrived, Megha and Gautam's wedding day was getting closer. In just two and a half months, they would be married!

They felt more and more excited. They were busy preparing for the big day. They were so happy to be starting their new life together. They knew their love would grow stronger with time.

Each day, they felt more grateful for the love and support of their family and friends. They couldn't wait to say their vows and start their new journey together.

"I'm going to give you something for your wedding," Gaurav's message popped up on Megha's phone, drawing her attention away from the chatter of the room.

Megha glanced at the screen and smiled. "No need."

Gaurav quickly replied, "Oh, alright, then I'll give it to you next time!"

Rolling her eyes, Megha typed, "You're the one who'll have the next time, potato head, NOT ME!"

Gaurav seemed unfazed. "I really don't know what to say about you. I said I'm going to give it to you, but you are rejecting it."

Megha sighed. "I was being polite, potato head. But since you insist, sure, just give it to me. I'll take whatever you give."

"Alright, I'll bring it to you soon," Gaurav finally conceded.

Megha shook her head with a small smile.

Gautam who was sitting beside her, raised an eyebrow. "What did he say?" he asked curiously.

"Gaurav said he's going to give me a gift."

Gautam's smile widened. "Is that so? It seems the present should be worth looking forward to."

"It'll probably be just a small gift for our wedding," Megha replied.

But Gautam wasn't convinced. "I doubt that," he murmured, already imagining the possibilities.

Leaning in closer, he wrapped his arm around Megha's shoulders. "We'll go look at lehengas tomorrow. Maa said she has some amazing pieces prepared for you."

Megha's heart fluttered. "Lehengas? There's no need to make it such a grand affair, right?"

Gautam shook his head, smiling fondly. "It won't be grand, but I want you to be dressed up beautifully as my perfect bride."

Megha smiled, feeling warm inside. She rested her head on his shoulder. Since when had she been so lucky to have such an amazing family?

The next day arrived, wrapped in the promise of excitement as Megha and Rekha ji embarked on their journey to the luxury fashion boutique of Pankaj and Nidhi.

As they entered the opulent store, greeted by the hushed whispers of silk and satin, Megha couldn't contain her fluttering heart. Her anticipation grew as they joined the queue of eager clients.
