It had only been three days following the victory againsts Southampton and we see Uno at his apartment office, working away with tactics and planning new hissatsu moves for him and the team.
"Alright, I think I'm done for strategizing for today." He said whilst looking at the pile of files and notes. "Yep, totaly done." He stood up and walked to his kitchen, where he brewed up some coffee. Not a minute later after he took a sip, somebody knocked at his door.
Uno set his coffee down, curiosity piqued by the unexpected knock. He made his way to the door, opening it to find Denise standing there, a bright smile on her face.
"Hey, Uno! Busy day?" she asked cheerfully.
"Hey, Denise. Yeah, just wrapped up some strategy planning. What's up?" Uno replied, leaning against the door frame.
"I figured you could use a break. How about joining me and the others for a coffee and some shopping? Lance, Avva, Matt, Angelo, Jada, and Zoey are coming too," Denise suggested, her eyes twinkling with excitement.
Uno glanced back at his office, the piles of files and notes a testament to his hard work. A break sounded perfect. "That sounds great. Give me a minute to grab my things."
He quickly tidied up his desk, stacking the papers neatly and shutting down his computer. Grabbing his jacket, he rejoined Denise at the door.
"Ready," he said with a smile.
As they walked towards the café, they chatted about the recent victory and upcoming plans.
"So, how do you feel about our last game?" Denise asked.
"Pretty good," Uno replied. "The team really pulled together. But there's always room for improvement."
When they arrived, they found the rest of the team already gathered around a large table, animatedly discussing their favorite tactics and sharing laughs.
"Uno, over here!" Lance called out, waving him over.
Uno and Denise joined them, and the barista soon brought over steaming cups of coffee for everyone. The conversation flowed easily, filled with stories from past matches and inside jokes.
"You guys remember that goal Angelo scored last month? It was insane!" Zoey exclaimed.
Angelo grinned. "Just doing my part."
Uno felt a wave of relaxation wash over him; it was good to spend time with his friends outside of the intense atmosphere of their training and games.
After finishing their coffee, the group decided to hit the shopping district. They wandered through various shops, trying on clothes, checking out new gear, and playfully teasing each other. Avva and Zoey were particularly enthusiastic about the latest fashion trends, while Matt and Angelo debated over the best sports equipment.
"These shoes are amazing," Avva said, holding up a pair of sleek running shoes.
"Yeah, but these cleats are top-notch," Matt countered.
Jada spotted a quirky little store filled with novelty items and dragged the whole group inside. They marveled at the oddities, laughing and trying out various gadgets and toys. Uno found himself drawn to a display of vintage soccer memorabilia and spent a few moments admiring the craftsmanship.
"Look at this, Uno," Denise said, holding up a ridiculous oversized hat. "Think this would make a good addition to our next team photo?"
Uno chuckled. "Only if you're wearing it."
Denise laughed, plopping the hat on her head. "How do I look?"
"Like the life of the party," Uno replied, grinning.
