Denise giggled as she adjusted her captain's band, her Number 11 jersey fitting perfectly. "Yeah, it’s time. But let’s finish this match the way we always do—giving it everything."
Uno grinned, the familiar fire igniting in him. "You know me, I’m not going out quietly. We've still got some moves left in us."
As the team assembled in the tunnel, Lance Summer, their left wing general wearing Number 8, gave Uno a nod. "One more battle, Captain?"
"One more," Uno confirmed with a smirk.
From the very first whistle, Barcelona’s defense was on high alert, but they were no match for the dynamic duo of Uno and Denise.
Within minutes, Uno initiated his signature hissatsu move, Howling Wind, the force of his strike bending the ball through the air like a missile. The ball soared, leaving defenders scrambling and the goalkeeper flat-footed as it slammed into the back of the net.
"Still got it," Olivia called from midfield, laughing. "Show-off!"
Uno jogged back with a grin. "That’s just the beginning."
Barcelona quickly retaliated, but Lorenzo stood firm in goal. His Flaming Wall lit up the pitch as he blocked a ferocious shot. The crowd roared as flames seemed to erupt from his gloves.
"Damn, Lorenzo, you're still a beast!" Jada shouted from the backline, giving him a thumbs up.
Denise wasn’t to be outdone. She caught a high ball from Lance, spun in the air, and unleashed her own hissatsu move, Cosmic Rift. The ball vanished from sight before reappearing in the net, a goal so fast the goalie didn’t even flinch.
"That’s our co-captain!" Meric shouted from midfield. "Keep them coming!"
Maury, in his usual cool fashion, dribbled past two defenders, only to be met by Sherwin Stewart (No. 14). With a swift flick of his foot, Maury and Sherwin executed Bro Zone alongside Uno, Lance, Angelo, and Matt, completely surrounding the Barcelona attackers and reclaiming the ball.
"Teamwork never dies!" Angelo said with a laugh as he sprinted forward to help Maury.
As the game entered the second half, Barcelona grew desperate. They fired multiple shots, but Lorenzo unleashed Wall of Fists, blocking every single attempt.
"Not today!" Lorenzo shouted, his fists like iron.
The game was tight, with the score climbing fast. Barcelona managed to close the gap, but when Denise and Uno combined for their signature Frozen Comet, the defenders were helpless. Ice seemed to trail behind their footwork as Denise's cosmic energy fused with Uno’s frosty precision. The ball hit the net with a loud thud, bringing the score to 8-7.
"Let’s finish this!" Uno yelled, his eyes meeting Denise’s in silent agreement.
A quick pass from Lance set them up for their ultimate combo move, Cosmic Freeze. Denise sent the ball rocketing toward the goal, and just as the goalie dove to block it, Uno’s Frozen Arrow shot forward, freezing time for a split second before the ball found its mark.
"10-7!" Zoey yelled from the midfield. "We did it!"
As the whistle blew, the team erupted in cheers. Everyone gathered around, high-fiving and laughing. But the celebration paused when Uno and Denise walked toward the center for their post-match interview.
