As the Hypower Eleven returned to Woking, Coach Alfreds let them take three weeks off. Uno and Denise took this opportunity to visit Denise's parents.

As they changed into their attire—Uno wearing a light blue hoodie with a green hood and the number 10 on the left side of his chest, a black windbreaker with the same number, dark green jogging pants, long socks with foxes as the design, and a blue pair of 373s from New Balance. Denise wore the same outfit with slight differences: a dark blue hoodie with a red hood and the number 11, a similar black windbreaker with the same number 11, dark red jogging pants, and a similar blue pair of 373s.

Once they changed, they took each other’s hands, intertwined them, and began walking to her parents' house.

Uno felt a mix of excitement and nerves as he and Denise walked hand in hand toward her parents' house. The quiet suburban neighborhood was lined with blooming flowers and neatly trimmed lawns, a stark contrast to the bustling streets of Woking.

"You ready for this?" Denise asked, glancing at Uno with a reassuring smile.

"As ready as I'll ever be," Uno replied, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. "What should I expect?"

Denise laughed softly. "They're pretty chill. My mom loves to cook, and my dad... well, he loves to tell stories. Just be yourself, they’ll love you."

They approached a cozy, two-story house with a welcoming front porch. Denise led the way up the steps and knocked on the door.

After a few moments, the door swung open to reveal a woman in her early fifties with a warm smile and kind eyes. "Denise! Oh, it's so good to see you, sweetheart!"

"Hi, Mom," Denise said, embracing her mother. "This is Uno."

Mrs. Star turned her attention to Uno, her smile widening. "Uno, it's so nice to finally meet you. Denise has told us so much about you."

"It's great to meet you too, Mrs. Star," Uno said, shaking her hand. "Thank you for having me."

"Call me Alice," she insisted. "Come on in, both of you."

They stepped inside, the house filled with the comforting aroma of baked goods. Denise’s father emerged from the kitchen, wiping his hands on a dishtowel.

"And here's Dad," Denise said, beaming. "Dad, this is Uno."

Mr. Star, a tall man with a graying beard and an easygoing demeanor, extended his hand. "Good to meet you, Uno. Call me Barry."

"Nice to meet you, Barry," Uno replied, shaking his hand firmly.

"Come on, let’s sit in the living room," Alice suggested, leading the way. "I’ve just made some fresh cookies."

They settled onto the cozy sofas, a plate of cookies in the center of the coffee table. Uno reached for one, the chocolate chip cookie still warm from the oven.

"So, Uno," Barry began, "Denise tells us you're quite the athlete. What got you into football?"

Uno smiled, a bit more relaxed now. "I’ve loved football since I was a kid. It's always been my passion. Joining the Hypower Eleven has been a dream come true."

Alice leaned in, intrigued. "And how did you and Denise meet?"

Denise chuckled. "You won't believe it, Mom. Uno kicked his ball over to our yard, and it hit the side of the house."

Barry laughed heartily. "We did hear a thud. I remember thinking, 'What on earth was that?'"

Uno joined in the laughter. "Yeah, I was mortified. I climbed over the fence to get the ball back, and I fell. That's when I saw Denise."
