Uno woke up to the soft glow of the morning sun filtering through the tent. He shifted slightly, feeling the warmth of Denise nestled against him. As he opened his eyes, he saw her peaceful face, her head resting on his chest. He smiled, feeling an overwhelming sense of contentment.

“Morning, beautiful,” he whispered, brushing a strand of hair from her face.

Denise stirred, her eyes fluttering open. “Morning,” she murmured, a sleepy smile spreading across her lips.

Uno leaned in, his lips barely grazing hers. “Last night was perfect.”

“Mm, it was,” Denise agreed, her hand tracing gentle patterns on his arm.

They were about to kiss when they heard hushed voices outside the tent.

“Are they awake yet?” Lance’s voice asked, barely contained excitement in his tone.

“I don’t think so,” Olivia replied. “Should we knock or something?”

“Nah, let’s surprise them,” Jada suggested with a mischievous giggle.

Denise and Uno exchanged amused glances. “Our teammates,” Denise whispered, rolling her eyes playfully.

Uno sighed, his lips curving into a grin. “They couldn’t let us have one more quiet moment, could they?”

Before they could move, the tent flap was thrown open, and their entire team stood there, grinning like a bunch of kids on Christmas morning.

“Good morning, lovebirds!” Zoey called out, her voice filled with glee.

Denise yelped and pulled the blanket up to her chin, her cheeks turning a deep shade of red. Uno couldn’t help but laugh.

“Seriously, guys?” Uno said, shaking his head. “We were having a moment.”

“Oh, we know,” Angelo said with a wink. “That’s why we’re here. To make sure it doesn’t get too... intimate.”

“Yeah, because we’re not ready to hear about little Unos or Denises running around just yet,” Maury added with a smirk.

Laughter erupted among the group, and Denise couldn’t help but giggle too. “You guys are impossible,” she said, sitting up and wrapping the blanket around her shoulders.

“Well, we couldn’t miss out on the fun,” Matt said, leaning against a tree with a broad grin. “And we brought breakfast.”

Lorenzo held up a basket filled with pastries and fruit. “Consider it a peace offering for crashing your morning.”

Uno and Denise climbed out of the tent, stretching and shaking off the remnants of sleep. The team had set up a makeshift picnic area nearby, complete with a large blanket and a spread of food.

“Thanks, guys,” Denise said, taking a seat on the blanket. “This looks amazing.”

“Only the best for our star couple,” Dara said, handing her a plate.

“So, what’s the plan for today?” Acel asked, plopping down next to them. “More team bonding?”

“Absolutely,” Tristan said, his eyes twinkling. “But first, let’s eat.”

As they dug into the breakfast, the conversation flowed easily, filled with jokes and teasing. It felt like a family gathering, everyone enjoying the moment and each other’s company.

“So, when’s the next big game?” Vincent asked, looking at Uno and Denise.

“In a couple of weeks,” Uno replied. “But for now, we’re just focusing on training and enjoying our time together.”
