As the sun grew brighter, Uno and Denise began waking up to start their day. They finished taking a bath and got dressed, ready for their coaching duties. From the other room, they could hear the soft chatter of their kids.
"Do you think Mum and Dad will give us some of the extra drills for our hissatsu stuff, ey Joey?" Junior asked his twin.
Joey, still half-asleep, mumbled back, "I don't know. It's way early in the morning for this bullshit question, Junior. You have to remember that our parents are THE Uno Winter and THE Denise Star."
Before Junior could reply, their younger siblings, Victoria and Elizabeth, along with Diane and Denis, burst into the room, their excitement making the early hour feel like midday.
"Mum! Dad!" Victoria exclaimed, her eyes wide with anticipation. "Can we start practicing today?"
Elizabeth and Diane, full of energy, joined in, "We want to learn some new moves too! Can we?"
Uno and Denise exchanged a smile, their hearts warmed by the enthusiasm of their children. Denise approached them with a playful grin. "Looks like we're in for an exciting day. Ready to give them a few extra drills?"
Uno nodded, chuckling as he ruffled Junior’s hair. "Looks like we'll be busy. But seeing the kids so eager makes it all worthwhile."
As the room became more chaotic, the youngest of the Winter children, Denis and Diane, walked in with their messy hair.
With Denis still incapable of speaking due to his tired nature, Diane knew he was thinking of a question, "Mum, Dad. When are we suppose to arrive at the training grounds?"
The morning had barely begun, but the energy in the Winter household was already buzzing. After a quick breakfast, Uno and Denise gathered their coaching gear, ready to head to the training grounds with their excited children in tow. The kids were practically bouncing off the walls with anticipation, eager to start practicing.
As they were about to step out the door, there was a knock, followed by the familiar voices of Lance and Olivia.
"Ey, you lot! Ready to show these young’uns how it’s done?" Lance’s voiced boomed as he walked in with Olivia, Savanna, and Mark close behind.
Savanna, spotting Junior, grinned and ran up to him. Junior, feeling bold, leaned in and kissed her on the cheek. "For good luck," he said with a smirk.
Before Savanna could respond, Lance’s face turned beet red. "Aye! What’s this now, lad? Kissing my daughter before you’ve even won a match? Ye better be planning on givin’ it yer all out there!" His voice rose, slipping into a string of Scottish swears. "If ye think yer getting off easy just 'cause yer the coach’s son, yer sorely mistaken!"
Uno quickly stepped in, trying to stifle his laughter. "Easy there, Lance. The lad’s just wishing her luck. Besides, how about you save some of that fire for when you’re driving the FC later?"
Lance grumbled, but a small smile crept onto his face. Olivia placed a hand on his shoulder, giving him a knowing look. "Lance, let’s not scare the kids before they’ve even started. Save that energy for the field."
As the group chuckled, the door opened again, and in walked Angelo and Jada, followed by their kids. Not far behind were Matt and Avva, with their children trailing closely. The former Hypower members continued to arrive, filling the room with a nostalgic camaraderie that reminded everyone of the old days.
“Looks like a reunion!” Maury shouted as he walked in with Zoey, Dara, and Lorenzo. “Hope you’ve all still got some of that Hypower spirit left.”
