As the pranks wore off, everybody resumed training. Once training had concluded, Uno and Denise began making plans for their date. Little that they knew, somebody would be stalking them.
"Uno, you ready?" Denise asked her blue haired boyfriend. "In a minute, I still need to fix my tie." Uno said. After a few seconds he was done. "Alright, let's get this started." Uno said while pumping his fists in excitement. "Enjoy your date man." Lance said. "We will, don't worry." Denise called out. And with that they left for their date. As they left Isabelle snuck off to hide and watch her crush, Uno, have a date with the person she doesn't want to date him.
Uno and Denise made their way to the restaurant, their hands interlocked as they walked through the bustling streets of Sapporo, Hokkaido. Isabelle followed at a distance, her heart pounding with a mix of jealousy and anticipation.
Once inside the cozy, dimly lit restaurant, Uno pulled out a chair for Denise. "Such a gentleman," she teased with a smile.
Uno grinned back, "Only for you."
They ordered their meals and settled into a comfortable conversation. "So, have you thought about our summer plans?" Denise asked, taking a sip of her water.
"Yeah, I was thinking we could go hiking in the mountains. It would be a great way to get away from everything," Uno suggested, his eyes lighting up at the thought.
Denise nodded, "That sounds amazing! I've always wanted to go there."
Isabelle, hidden behind a menu at a table across the room, strained to hear their conversation. She felt a pang of envy seeing how happy Uno seemed with Denise.
Their food arrived, and they began to eat. "This is delicious," Denise said, savoring a bite of her pasta.
"I'm glad you like it," Uno replied, taking a bite of his own meal. "I've been wanting to bring you here for a while."
They continued their meal, laughing and sharing stories. Isabelle's heart sank as she watched them, feeling more and more out of place. She thought back to her own moments with Uno, wondering if he ever looked at her the way he looked at Denise now.
Denise looked at Uno with a mischievous smile, "You always look so good in that navy blue suit. It's like it was made for you."
Uno blushed slightly and responded, "Thanks, Denise. But look at you-you're stunning in that dark blue dress. It really brings out the sparkle in your eyes." Denise's dress was a vibrant dark blue, hugging her figure perfectly, with a delicate lace overlay that added an air of elegance.
Denise beamed, "You're sweet, Uno."
After dinner, Uno and Denise decided to take a walk through the nearby park. Isabelle followed, careful to stay hidden among the trees. They reached a small pond, where the moonlight reflected off the water.
"Isn't it beautiful?" Denise said, leaning her head on Uno's shoulder.
"It is, but not as beautiful as you," Uno replied softly, wrapping his arm around her.
Isabelle's eyes filled with tears as she witnessed their closeness. She felt a mix of sadness and frustration, unsure of what to do next.
As they continued their walk, Uno suddenly stopped and turned to Denise. "There's something I've been wanting to tell you," he said, his voice serious.
Denise looked at him with curiosity, "What is it?"
Uno took a deep breath, "I love you, Denise. I've loved you for a long time, and I want us to be together always."
Denise's eyes widened in surprise, and then she smiled brightly. "I love you too, Uno," she said, throwing her arms around him.
They shared a passionate kiss under the stars, completely oblivious to Isabelle's presence. She turned away, unable to watch any longer. As she walked back to the training grounds, her heart pounded with determination. She would find a way to win Uno's heart, no matter how hard it would be. She refused to let Denise have him.
