As Hypower managed to gain a new member in the form of Sherwin Stewart, Lorenzo got thinking on how he can welcome Sherwin, despite already welcoming him.
Once Sherwin had finished putting his things in his new locker. He turned to the goalkeeper. "So. Lorenzo, right? The legendary keeper of Hypower. I'm pleased to finally talk to you personally." Sherwin greeted, Lorenzo nodded. "Well, it's also a pleasure in meeting you Sherwin. Uno and Denise sure do have an eye for a brilliant player. And hey, at least you and Captain Uno along with Lance have a good bond now." Lorenzo said.
Sherwin smiled, his eyes glinting with excitement. "Thanks, Lorenzo. I've met everyone, but I still feel like the new guy. How's everything going here?"
Before Lorenzo could answer, Uno walked in with Denise by his side, their usual friendly banter covering their subtle chemistry. "Sherwin, good to see you settling in!" Uno laughed, clapping Sherwin on the back. "We're thrilled to have you with us."
Denise nodded, her eyes warm. "We've heard great things about you, Sherwin. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask."
"Hey, Denise," Sherwin said, nodding. "I'm looking forward to working with you both."
At that moment, Olivia and Lance entered the room, laughing about something. Lance caught sight of Sherwin and grinned. "Hey there, Sherwin! Hope Lorenzo here hasn't scared you off with his legendary status," he joked.
Olivia added, "Welcome to the team! Don't let Lance's jokes get to you; he's harmless."
Angelo and Jada strolled in, hand in hand. Jada smiled brightly at Sherwin. "Hi, Sherwin! We've been hearing about your skills non-stop!"
Angelo nodded, his expression friendly. "Yeah, man. Can't wait to see you in action on the field."
Avva, Matt, and Maury entered next, with Avva leading the way. "Hey, Sherwin!" she called out cheerfully. "Glad you're here!"
"Chaos is right," Matt said with a laugh. "But it's the best kind. You'll love it here."
Maury added, "We've got your back, Sherwin. This team is like family."
Zoey, Dara, and Matthew followed closely behind, with Zoey extending her hand to Sherwin. "Hi, Sherwin. Welcome to Hypower!"
Dara nodded. "Nice to see you again, Sherwin. Heard you're quite the talent."
Matthew chimed in, "Yeah, can't wait to see you in a match."
Acel, Yani, Vincent, and Meric came in, with Jea trailing behind them. Acel gave Sherwin a thumbs up. "Welcome aboard, Sherwin!"
Yani smiled. "We're glad to have you. Let's make some magic on the field."
Vincent and Meric both nodded in agreement, with Vincent adding, "We've got a strong team. You'll fit right in."
Jea finally spoke up, her voice soft but welcoming. "Hi, Sherwin. It's great to have you here."
Kate, who had been quietly observing, stepped forward. "Hey, Sherwin. We're all excited to see what you'll bring to the team."
Sherwin looked around at his teammates, feeling a warm sense of belonging. "Thank you all for the warm welcome. I can't wait to get started and give my best for Hypower."
Uno clapped his hands together. "Alright, everyone. Let's get out on the field and show Sherwin what Hypower is all about!"
As they made their way to the field, Sherwin walked beside Lorenzo. "Seems like a great group," he said.
Lorenzo smiled. "They are. Welcome to the family, Sherwin."
Lorenzo watched Sherwin jog onto the field, already blending in with the rest of the team. As he took his position at the goal, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. Hypower was more than a team; it was a family.
