### A Much-Needed Rest

The next morning, Y/N woke up feeling more refreshed after a full night's sleep. The previous day, Matt had taken care of the children while she rested, and it made a significant difference. As she stretched, she felt a sense of gratitude for her husband's understanding and support.

Matt was already up, tending to their two children. Y/N could hear the cheerful babbling of their toddler and the coos of their newborn from the living room. She smiled, appreciating the rare quiet moment she had to herself.

After getting dressed, Y/N made her way to the living room where Matt was playing with the children. Their toddler was building a tower of blocks, while the newborn lay on a play mat, fascinated by a dangling toy.

"Good morning, everyone," Y/N greeted, her voice filled with warmth.

Matt looked up and smiled, a hint of mischief in his eyes. "Good morning, beautiful. How are you feeling?"

"Much better, thanks to you," Y/N replied, giving him a grateful kiss on the cheek.

The toddler looked up and giggled. "Mama! Bla bla bla!"

Both Y/N and Matt laughed. "Looks like someone is in a good mood today," Matt said, ruffling the toddler's hair.

The newborn responded with a series of "bwa bwa bwa" sounds, joining in the cheerful atmosphere.

Y/N settled on the couch, watching her family with a contented heart. Matt sat down beside her, their hands finding each other naturally.

"You were amazing yesterday," Y/N said softly. "I really needed that rest."

Matt squeezed her hand. "Anything for you, Y/N. We're a team."

As they sat together, the peaceful moment was suddenly interrupted by the toddler, who decided it was the perfect time to climb onto Matt’s lap and bounce up and down. "Daddy, up! Up!"

Matt laughed, lifting the toddler into the air and pretending to fly him around the room. "Here we go, flying high!"

Y/N watched with amusement as their toddler squealed in delight. She felt a wave of love and gratitude for Matt, who always knew how to bring joy to their family, even in the simplest moments.

After a while, Matt set the toddler down, who immediately ran off to play with his toys again. He turned back to Y/N, his eyes twinkling with affection.

"You know, seeing you rested and happy is the best reward," he said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

Y/N leaned into him, feeling the warmth of his embrace. "And seeing you with our kids makes me fall in love with you all over again."

Matt smiled, kissing her forehead. "We’re pretty lucky, aren’t we?"

"We are," Y/N agreed. "And I wouldn’t have it any other way."

The rest of the day unfolded with the usual routines of family life. They prepared breakfast together, played with the children, and took turns managing naps and feedings. Despite the occasional chaos, there was a sense of harmony and teamwork that made everything feel manageable.
