Part 2

The night had been long but fun. Y/N stayed up playing Roblox on her laptop, immersing herself in different games and enjoying the freedom of the weekend. She had laughed so hard at some of the in-game antics that her sides hurt. The digital world had been a much-needed escape, and she had momentarily forgotten about the stresses of real life.

By the time morning rolled around, Y/N was still wide awake, her eyes a bit bleary but her spirits high. She realized she hadn't gotten any sleep, but she didn’t mind. It was Saturday, after all, and she felt she deserved a break.

As the sun rose higher in the sky, she heard movement in the house. Knowing her family would soon be up and about, she quickly shut down her laptop and tried to make herself look somewhat presentable. She slipped into some comfortable clothes and headed to the kitchen.

Her mom was already there, making breakfast. She turned and gave Y/N a warm smile. “Good morning, sweetheart. You’re up early.”

Y/N smiled back, deciding not to mention that she hadn’t actually been to bed. “Morning, Mom. What’s for breakfast?”

“Pancakes,” her mom replied, flipping a golden brown one onto a plate. “Your favorite.”

Y/N’s stomach rumbled at the sight and smell of the delicious pancakes. She grabbed a plate and sat down at the table, digging in with gusto. As she ate, Nick, Matt, and Chris filtered into the kitchen, looking surprisingly awake and ready to start the day.

“Morning, Y/N,” Chris greeted her, ruffling her hair as he passed by.

“Morning,” she mumbled through a mouthful of pancake.

Nick poured himself a cup of coffee and sat down beside her. “So, what’s the plan for today?”

Y/N shrugged. “I don’t know. I might just take it easy and relax. Maybe play some more Roblox.”

Matt raised an eyebrow. “More Roblox? Were you up all night playing?”

Y/N blushed slightly, realizing she’d been caught. “Maybe…”

Her brothers laughed, not unkindly. “Well, it’s good to see you having fun,” Matt said. “Just don’t make it a habit, okay?”

“Yeah, I know,” Y/N replied with a smile.

The rest of the day passed in a relaxed manner. Y/N lounged around the house, watching movies with her brothers and chatting with her mom about their plans for decorating the new place. She felt a sense of peace and contentment, enjoying the simple pleasures of being with her family.

As evening approached, Y/N’s mom suggested they all go out for a walk to explore the neighborhood. Y/N was a bit tired from her all-nighter, but she agreed, feeling it would be good to get some fresh air.

The family walked through their new neighborhood, taking in the sights and sounds. The fresh air and gentle exercise felt invigorating, and Y/N found herself enjoying the time spent outside. They passed by a park where kids were playing, and Y/N made a mental note to come back and explore it more thoroughly later.
