Faye stepped out of the steamy bathroom, her skin still glistening from the hot shower. She wrapped a soft towel around her body, and as she walked into the bedroom, her eyes landed on Kurt, sprawled out on the bed, who buried under the covers as soon as she turned on the light.

"Well, looks like it's not only me who needed some rest," she teased. Kurt groaned in response, pulling the sheets over his head once again.

"Come on, lazy boy," she sat beside him and shook his shoulder. "You can't hide under there forever."

Kurt peeked out, his hair tousled and eyes still heavy with sleep. "C'mon," he mumbled, his voice thick with grogginess.

She rolled her eyes playfully, giving him another shake. "We've got plans, remember? You promised me a night out."

"Alright, alright," he said, trying to stifle a yawn. "You get ready and I'll enjoy a few extra minutes, sounds fair?"

Faye nodded and began rummaging through her closet, clothes scattered around the room in her frantic search. After trying on a few outfits, she settled on a suede dress, layered over a white long sleeved shirt, paired with thick tights and black slingbacks to ward off the evening cold. She decided to leave her hair as it was, focusing instead on her makeup. She applied eyeliner, a generous amount of mascara, and a wine-red lipstick. Finally, she grabbed her coat and moved to wake Kurt again.

"I'm ready," she said, planting kisses all over his face and neck. "And I won't stop until you get up."

"Fine, I surrender," he started laughing.

He glanced in the mirror and saw the red marks on his face. "Oh, baby, you didn't have to do my makeup. You know I can do it myself."

She laughed as he tried to clean his face. "Here," she grabbed some tissue. "Let me help you with those."

Kurt's eyes danced over her face, captivated by how her makeup enhanced her features.

"I think we've got it under control," she said, wiping away the last stain.

"Well, what about this one?" he asked, leaning in to kiss her, stealing her breath away.

As Kurt's lips left hers, Faye smiled and turned back to the mirror. The kiss had smudged her lipstick, so she quickly reapplied it with precise strokes, adding an extra layer of mascara for good measure. Meanwhile, Kurt padded over to the bathroom sink, splashing water on his face.

Face freshly washed, he stood in the doorway, watching her with an affectionate gaze. "You look stunning,"

"Well, it didn't take more than you washing your face, but you're the most handsome man I've ever seen."

Kurt grinned, running a hand through his still-damp hair. "Guess we make a pretty good pair, huh?"

She laughed, reaching out to smooth a stray lock. "Yeah, we do."

"Alright," Kurt wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her close. "Where do you want to go?"

She lit a cigarette, taking a deep drag. "I'm down for whatever, honestly. Just somewhere we won't bump into any of my classmates,"

Kurt smirked and gently took the cigarette from her fingers, taking a long drag himself. "I think I know a place that suits that very well," he said as he handed it back to her.

They hailed a cab, and he gave the driver some instructions. As the car started moving, Faye noticed they were heading away from downtown Seattle. The familiar landmarks and bustling streets gave way to quieter, dimly lit roads. She peered out the window, the city's lights becoming a distant glow, replaced by the dark silhouettes of warehouses and industrial architecture.
