Aycie Locke.
August 20th, New York.
I've changed a lot over the last ten days.
I've just been on top of the world and it's making me feel really confident, I'm like a new woman, I don't take shit from anyone.
It does have something to do with the fact that I can tell Niall that I love him now and the look on his face every time puts me on cloud nine.
The last coming up two weeks have been rough on him, that first concert he did the day after he almost got himself killed was fucking awful and that's me being honest.
He did the best he could though, there's no way he could have got up on stage and ran around with everyone else.
They've been progressively getting better as he heals, he doesn't have to bandage up the wounds on his torso any more and they've healed well with Louis help so that he's able to move around more flexibly without them splitting back open or stretching.
He got the stitches taken out of his chin three days ago and the bruising had gotten past the worst part and had started to fade. He's not out the clear yet but compared to how he was ten days ago I'd say he's very close to being back to normal again.
By normal I mean physically fine, he's definitely gonna be waiting a long time for the damage to fully heal and most likely scar.
We've just arrived at New York and we're staying until the 25th.
This is one of the places I was most excited about, which adds to my little collection of happy tokens I'm hoarding up on cloud nine.
I watched the Smurf's on the way here on the bus since that's set in New York and had to deal with a high Harry absolutely loosing his shit over it.
He was on his knees on the floor crying in fits of laughter, smacking the floor with his palm, gasping for breaths just by simply looking at papa Smurf.
In the end watching Harry work up the courage to look at the tv again after almost collapsing from the lack of oxygen he had was more entertaining than the movie.
Apparently he's never seen the smurfs, that's why he found them absolutely hilarious, devastatingly hilarious.
"It's nice to get away from them for a while, we've never actually just done something me and you" I look across the table to Summer.
We've come out for lunch together, the rest of them were being dicks and arguing over every tiny thing so we needed an escape.
We're sat on a circular table for two in a little cafe which is fairly busy, everywhere is busy here.
Plus who says I can't just have lunch with my friend, I don't need a reason.
"I'm kinda sad the tours only got thirteen more shows" she murmurs, both of us wearing plain blue jeans, her in a purple t shirt and me in a white one. I did Dutch braids for her and I left my hair down.
"What are you gonna do when it's over?" I ask curiously, looking down at my plate that contains pizza which I had been craving all day.
"I don't know- I guess find another tour or something similar to photograph. It will be easier now with the exposure I've gotten."
"I can't imagine you photographing anyone else but the band" I respond, a little sad imagining that any of this could actually end. "I really wish we could just do this for the rest of our lives."
"We'll still talk after tour, right?" She looks up, her having chosen some kind of fancy toast that had green things on it which I could bet you a hundred dollars is not as good as my pizza.
