My phone rings and I pick it up. "Hello?" I say. "Mia Stella? It's really is you." He says, and I cannot help but start tearing up, tears are streaming down my face as I say. "Nick is this really you?" "Yes it is, I just had to hear your voice I'm sorry." He says. "Where are you? Why aren't you here? Why did you just leave like that? Why did you just leave me?" I say my voice breaking.
"I can't tell you, I'm sorry. It's for your own good you can't know, I have to go." "If this is about my safety, take it I don't want it without you. It's been terrible without you Nick. Every single day seems like agony. I can't live like this." "I'm sorr-" The line cuts off before he can finish his sentence and all I want to do is die with the pain of the memories that we had and the fact that he left it all behind. I fall to my knees and start bawling my eyes out. I can't stop crying. I won't stop crying even when my lungs are burning. I cannot stop because he's gone. And he took me with him.
