"I'm sure you're wondering why I gathered all of you here." Azania says. "Yeah, seriously, why did you?" Natalia asks. We're all gathered at the edge of the cliff that Aurora's friend jumped off of. "Well, in order to truly understand the perspective of someone,
people might take it as far as to experience what that person experienced." "What are you talking about?" Sarah asks, as confused as the rest of us. "Don't lose me." Is all Azania responds with. "Wha-" Before I could even finish my word, she tips backwards and falls off the cliff.
I immediately jump after her. I was so close to grabbing her but she slipped right through my fingers and we both hit the water. It fells cold against my skin, it is very dark but I make sure not to lose sight of her. As I finally reached her, I grab her and pull her towards me.
But she pulls my face in and kisses me. Under the water with god knows what. Nothing else matters except for this kiss. Her lips against mine fells amazing. But I realize something. She wasn't actually kissing me, she was giving me all of her air.
She slips through my fingers again before I can react, and she's sinking lower and lower. A few air bubbles popping up to where she is sinking. I try to swim further. But it's getting harder. But she is out of breath and I can't stop. I won't stop.
I can't hear anything underneath the water. It's like time has just stopped. I keep swimming deeper and deeper, wondering when I'm finally going to reach her. The deeper I go down, the darker it gets. No matter how hard it gets to breathe, I don't stop. I can't stop.
I just got her back. I can't let her go. Not this time. I'm not letting her slip through my fingers like how she did at the fair. She's not going to leave me. I barely survived the last time that she left, the last time she disappeared. I'm definitely not going to survive this time.
Even as time feels like it's stopped, I keep moving further. I keep pushing. I can see her, but barely. We've been swimming for what feels like hours, but I know it's most likely only a few minutes. I don't stop and I won't. Even if I drown, at least I drown with her.
I will put my life on the line for her any day of the week. We're going to get out of this together no matter what. We're going to be together. We have to be. I manage to grab by the hand just barely, but I hold her tight and pull her towards me.
Then I swim upwards with her on my chest. I can tell that she's not breathing without even having to look down at her but i do anyway. She looks peaceful and pale, her hair floating in every direction underneath the water.
I manage to make it out of the water just barely, and I immediately started swimming to the edge of the lake. Once I get there, I start doing CPR on her. Come on, wake up, wake up. We can't lose you, not like this. Please baby, please wake up.
