Riven, Adan, Bronwyn, and Oreo arrived at Hilltop as the sun was rising. Adan let go of Riven as they stopped in front of the gates of Hilltop.

Adan cleared his throat, "Gregory! Open the gates!"

Riven moved to stand next to Bronwyn, as Adan approached the gates, "we don't want a repeat of what happened last time, do we!?"

Bronwyn and Riven shared a look both wondering what happened last time. They both turned to the gates as they opened, revealing an older man who looked a bit nervous.

"Adan, it's just you today, and..you brought children?" The man eyed Riven and Bronwyn with a look of judgment in his eyes.

Oreo growled at him, and Riven approached him, "Where's Jesus?"

If anything, he supposed the only person he could trust at the moment was Jesus, even if he didn't know him or anything, but Rick and the others did.

If Rick and the others trusted Jesus, then Riven could.

"..that would be me." A younger man approached them with a smile, throwing Gregory a look as he stopped next to him.

"Good. Wyn and I are Rick's people." Riven told him, and Jesus nodded, glancing at Adan.

Bronwyn cleared her throat, and Riven turned to look at her. She gestured towards Adan with her head.

"Right," Riven mumbled and turned to face Adan, "Thanks for helping us, and I'm sorry."

Adan furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, "What for?"

Riven surged his fist foward, his fist connecting with Adan's face, knocking him out with a single rough blow.

Adan fell back on the ground. A small thud was heard, "for that."

"You should've killed him." Bronwyn told him, and Riven looked at her, shaking his head.

"No." He turned towards Jesus, "You should tie him up before he wakes up."

Jesus nodded, "we will. Are you injured?"

Jesus gestured towards his leg, and Riven sighed, "Nah, I'm fine."

"Bullshit!" Bronwyn said with a small huff, "He's injured. He was shot in the spine two days ago."

"I'm fine," Riven insisted, "has a man with a bunch of tattoos, and looks like a drug dealer been aroun' here?"

Jesus hummed, nodding his head, "Calvin, yes. Come, follow me."

"No, no," Gregory shook his head, "they should go back from where they came. If they're with Negan, then it'll only bring us more trouble, worse trouble if they're with Negan's son."

"They're with Rick." Jesus replied, walking away from Gregory. Bronwyn and Riven followed after Jesus.

"I will not allow this." Gregory blocked their way, crossing his arms over his chest,

"Good thing nobody asked for your opinion, old man." Bronwyn snapped, and Riven chuckled,

"..wyn-wyn! Now, what did I tell you about cursin' old people?" Bronwyn's eyes widened as they welled up with tears,
