"I'll break every inch of your body–"
"CHASE!" I stormed.
"Ano?!"
"Pick her up, and bring her home–"
"Putangina, ihagis ko pa ito–"
"Just fucking listen to me!" I cut him off.
Wala na akong pakealam sa tao sa paligid namin, all I want is to save my princess.
I paid no heed to the growing crowd of onlookers, their whispers and gasps lost to me as I cradled her in my arms, her body soaked in blood and her breaths growing fainter by the second.
My entire world had narrowed to the fragile life slipping away in my embrace, oblivious to the states and murmurs surrounding us.
"Please, bear with me, princess..." I whispered to her.
"Ion, anong..."
"Can you please open the door?" I nicely asked Nanay Salome to open the door.
"I don't know what to do, hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko..."
I heard a voice from someone, that made my sight raise.
He was just wearing his plain white polo, and black trousers while his hair was brushed up which made my brows furrowed.
"How come you're crying, because you don't know what to do?"
"Anong..." HIndi makapaniwalang tanong ko.
"Iiyak ka lang dyan, waiting for your woman to die?" He hissed as I got back on my feet.
"No! I...won't let her die!" I shouted desperately.
He rose from the sofa, a cloud of smoke trailing the last drag of his cigarette as he extinguished it in the ashtray. His eyes locked onto mine, and he moved with a deliberate calmness, each step bringing him closer to where I stood, desperate and fearful, watching over my girl.
