Layla waltz into the compound absentmindedly with thousand things running through her mind.

Stopping right at the drive in, next to the main entrance, she was jolt out of her thoughts by the way Rauda bolted out of the car, making her to glance at the child mumbling. "Careful baby..."

Which Rauda didn't bother listening to as she ran into her grandparents house. Layla sighed, pressing the bottom to off the car before she grab her hand bag and the white medium box beside it.

She got door and found Salisu already waiting as they exchange pleasantries with Layla asking his family before she handle her car key.

The parking area of the AAA's is very far from the main entrance which is the reason everyone prefer stopping here then have Salisu to drive the car in. To put it simple, Salisu is their very own valet.

Over the cause of these three years, Layla has slowly distance herself from all the family drama which kinda prove to be almost impossible cause they make sure to include her but thank God she learn the act of saying NO.

So with time, even Ammi too doesn't invite her if it isn't relevant. And that worked out perfectly in her favor cause she wouldn't want them to be surprised when her divorce with Abdulazeez finally comes to light.

Even today she is here for Rauda and the twins children's birthday. As Both three kids share the same birthday, only, Rauda is older than them with two years while the twins kids will be one in a week.

As uncommon as it it, they both give birth the same day, Hussaina had a girl while Hassana a boy, one morning and one evening in the same hospital which falls exactly on Rauda's birthday.

Hassana was the first the suggest the idea which Layla laughed off at cause she wasn't thinking about celebrating the girls birthday even now.

Not that she has anything against it, she just couldn't bother anyone. Birthdates are one of the few things that doesn't matter to her, they never did actually, until she became part of the AAA's.

Ammi too spoke to her about it followed by both Hussaina and Abdulazeez so she thought why not especially since they offered, also because Ammi and Abba are paying for everything, Hassana's words.

"The person I have being dying to see..." Hassana mumbled as soon as Layla appear on the door holding a faint smile on her face.

"You do know the way to our house last I remember." She mummered hugging her sister in-law, ex sister in-law as Hussaina whom is on her phone also approach them.

Extending her hand to Hussaina whom they also hugged before they let go at the same time with Hassana explaining her reason.

"I do..." She trailed as they both walked into the very familier room. "But you're alway not home. Whether you're stuck with family functions or work is keeping you all to busy."

"We miss the old you..." Hussaina chip in happily removing the phone from her ear. "The one phone call away Aunty Layla who will solve your problem in a blink of an eye."

"Just say the word..." Hassana went on. "Did Ya Abdul did anything at all?"

She asked all serious tilting her head expectedly at Layla whom rose her left brow skeptical. Lost of words really. Weren't they on a lifetime of Abdul doing everything?

"Even if he didn't am ready to apologize on his behalf if that will means having you back as an active member of this family." Hussaina decided all soothenly.

Layla laughed at her words, settling herself on the edge of the bed with the two ladies sitted at her side

Even after all those years, these two women still remain the most solid part of Abdulazeez's family that will forever be her team.
